[8.0] "Great match even if I don't find such good chemistry between the two. The intervention of the Undisputed Era at the end spoils the finish. (4*1/4)"

Dunne and Ricochet are both amazing performers and they did a fine job here, but unfortunately the match felt like it was just moves and no story until the finish which I actually kind of enjoyed which is rare for a DQ ending. I can see why this would be rated favorably, but I just didn't feel anything above a 7."

The finish was indicative of that idea, too, creating the possibility that we see these two Superstars wage war over championship gold again someday. Undisputed Era interfering made sense within the context of the ongoing feud, and the appearance of The War Raiders, who are eyeing O'Reilly and Strong's tag titles, did as well. This was a fantastic way to cap off the show while propelling forward the rivalries that have dominated the NXT brand for the last handful of months."

This wasn't a rushed match at all, WWE knew they had a real dream match in their possession, a diamond to polish between two of the best talents of the decade, and they gave us this match in a big context as it was a Winner Takes All that lasted more than twenty minutes. This match could have been a TakeOver main event hands down honestly, but we got it on TV and that's a choice I respect because it was just to build a Triple Threat with Adam Cole a few weeks later. So that explains this finish which obviously ruins this match from being a 5 star with an impactful result. The action was still fantastic with an enjoyable rhythm, we had lots of great sequences, nearfalls, body targetting, good selling, a crowd on absolute fire and this match was superbly well constructed from A to Z. Incredible stuff by these two gifted talents."

Their match was superb, Pete Dunne is a very evil wrestler with unique mat wrestling skills and very much like William Regal as a style. Ricochet stood up for his attacks and submission moves, and as an aswer put his attractive high flying arsenal, the moonsault from the ropes was the most amazing moment of this clash. I am pleased the match ended in this way - no one deserved to lose. Another incredible NXT match. ****3/4"

That's exactly what it was. And just like you probably imagined, that means it was awesome af. It would be only fair to point out the match took a second before it got hot, like most NXT TV big matches, but it didn't bore, no it was dynamic and short enough not to lose anyone. But once the second half kicked in, BOY, unforgettable-level shit. Must-watch."

No insane high spots I can remember but there was no need for them. NXT back at it again with the awesome "TV" matches, shame about the ending though. ****1/4"

[8.0] "Dunne vs Ricochet was very good match. Pete Dunne doing some gnarly joint manipulation spots and laying into Ricochet with some nice shots and suplexes. Ricochet was still hitting his dives/flips in the robotic and jarring way he normally does but he meshed well with Dunne and they had some nice looking counters. Very good match. Better than any of the overrated Gargano/Ciampa matches most definitely. Undisputed Era's interference was predictable but still a nice touch. Undisputed Era acting like heels is what they are all best at IMO. ***34"

[8.0] "Two really talented guys going at it and building a superb match. This was a really interesting counterpoint, the hard hitting, ruthless strong style type offence of Dunne vs the perpetually in motion daredevil Ricochet. The hold for hold exchanges to start were good and showed excellent strategy by Dunne, ground Ricochet and then coax him into trying to fight your kind of match. They worked body parts and there was enough resistance in the exchanges to make them seem like a struggle. I was enjoying it but not quite engaged. Then, as they moved through the gears I was drawn in, and by the end really invested and even with the raggy finish being telegraphed, it was obvious as soon as this was made for both belts one was coming, they hooked me and when it came i was surprised given how deep into action i'd been dragged. Both went for signature spots and had answers, the highlight for me was Ricochet attempting several incredibly athletic attacks, flipping around only for Dunne to evade them all and then smash him with a nasty looking forearm. What I at first thought might be an awkward blend turned out to be a PPV standard match. I'm surprised this wasn't saved for a takeover but you cant have both midcard belts occupied by a single match i suppose. Really good match and my progress towards being a full fledged Ricochet convert continues. Hopefully we'll see these two in a big match, on a bigger stage, in the future."
