The opposite of the last match as these guys still give a worth while match, even when pulling double duty. Crowd are into to it, it has a good build and the finish was clean and simple. Really good outing for both men in their storied history."

It felt more like Face vs Face since this was Flair country, but Sting was still loved. The Figure Four sequence fucking ruled with the slaps into the powerup from Sting. Great finish too. ****"

[8.0] "Very enjoyable match. They just knew how to tell a good story in their matches. Flair uses a lot of underhanded tactics here and also uses the three ring set up in the arena to keep Sting chasing him, which was a nice touch. Flair's arrogance was his undoing here as he was really cocky when he had control and when he locked in the figure four he also hits the legs to apply more pressure, but then he slaps him in the face and causes him to power out of the move as Sting begins to no sell all the chops and Flair loses focus to the point where he forgets about all the limb work he'd been doing all match, which was a nice touch. The crowd really come alive with the comeback and I liked the finish too where Sting lands a suplex off the top move and immediately follows it up with the Scorpion Death Lock, which this time around he released the hold after he won."

He let Sting no sell a lot of his stuff, but none of the no sells were insulting the intelligence and every time they were getting a big pop. Flair was wrestling like a cocky coward and it was constantly biting him in the ass, plus Sting's connection with the crowd was really visible here, producing an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. It really felt like the NWA days, when Ric was putting on some great matches with Hawk or Luger."

Not really much better than your average Sting/Flair match, but that's still naturally a good match. The constant moving between rings might be seen as a handicap but Sting and Flair manage to make it not only watchable but interesting."

Here Sting tries to get his revenge for the heel turn of Ric Flair and it's good until the end. So an easy to watch match with a solid conclusion. ***1/2"

[5.0] "Except for that first match in 88, I just don't think Flair and Sting clicked very well. They've got a formula which pops the crowd, but it's very repetitive and doesn't really do justice to their best work. Sting's constant no selling is particularly annoying, because he only ever does it against Flair and he's not very good at getting it over. This is passable but nothing more."
