[4.0] "I found this match rough, I think it was worked in an acceptable way but the taunt exchange, the sloppyness, and the action wasn't for me, they didn't seem to be on the same page for the vast majority of the match, the crowd seemed to enjoy it tho..."

[4.0] "I like matches with a lot of action, but for me this match was nothing interesting, I scored a few spots and that's it. In my opinion, it had the potential for something interesting, but it was poorly written and the emphasis of the fight was placed on putting on a show, not pure wrestling. That's why this rating."

[4.0] "And now its time for the Main Event Lucha Brothers Vs Private Party: sometimes its a good thing to put an old school AEW match together. Its a helpful reminder of how far AEW has come since its early days. This match was bad. Far too many tongue in cheek, cheap and unfunny gags, heavily and blatantly choreographed moves. To make matters worse, most of those moves looked like s**t as well. Im not ready to write off the Lucha Brothers YET as they can be led to a good match with the right team. Private Party on the other hand, are awful. If they havent got it by now, they never will and its way past time to pull the plug. Every time either of them features it tends to be exactly what was offered here. AEW has clearly outgrown them and its time to move on. Harsh, but fair. 4/10"

[7.0] "An entertaining match. I'm a decent fan of Private Party (they're not great but they're definitely talented) but the Lucha Brothers are so great, I love them. They can pull a halfway decent match out of almost anyone and they got a straight up good match from Private Party."

[8.0] "This was a good showcase for both tag teams. They got plenty of time to build toward hot tags and near falls, and got to pull off a few creative sequences that I've not seen before (e.g., the way the Lucha Bros blocked/prevented the Gin & Juice). They also effectively used fun, high-flying surprise spots to break up pinfalls/tags (or prevent interference). Their work got the match over with the crowd, as well (which can be hard sometimes for Rampage crowds who've sat through Dynamite tapings)."

[4.0] "This felt like a relic from an old era of AEW, very much a 2019 AEW match. Both teams are almost in the same positions they were then, despite the Lucha Brothers having runs with the AEW and ROH Tag Titles and Fenix a run with the International Title, while Marq Quen has been away from AEW more than he's been in it. In the right scenario, this would have been an awesome tag team match, but it just felt heatless and inconsequential to me."
