[8.0] "These two were involved in a fantastic brawl the week before where they just laid into each other. This one is no different. Just brutal shot after brutal shot. May have been the best Brian Cage has ever looked."

[9.0] "Holy sh... What a WAR! Brian Cage and Pentagon Dark pulled out all of the stops and then some in one of the best matches in Lucha Underground history! This was pure brutality, with both men utilizing tables, chairs, and a freaking cinderblock to destroy one another. It was honestly everything that I expected a Last Man or Machine Standing Match to be. And, once again: Then some. Pentagon Dark in Lucha Underground was a genuine candidate for being the best all-around wrestler on the planet. His character work was second to none and his matches seemed to raise the bar every time he was in the ring. Cage, meanwhile, showed why it is that Impact Wrestling made him their franchise player, as well as why AEW was in such a rush to sign him when that became a possibility. For fans of PWG, we all knew exactly what Cage could do given the right opportunities. I honestly do not know how to rate this one, as I honestly have feelings of five-star status. The unprotected chair shots are a bit of a turnoff, but I trust the wrestlers more than I do my own outside judgment. I will land on 4.5 stars and 9 out of 10. An absolute classic and one of the best Last Man Standing matches ever."

[8.0] "Excellent match between two guys that I'm big fans of. The only major complaint that I have is that the match wasn't as long as it could've been - in my opinion. I noted this in my review for the episode; the episode itself should've been a little more focuses and had one less match in it to let the matches present shine brighter. Despite that, really good match. And I'm glad the winner won. (No spoilers)"

[8.0] "Not a fan of Lucha Underground but I decided to watch this match after seeing it recommended on the main page. All in all i'd say it was a very fun brawl. There were no special moves for the most part, just 2 men who wanted to beat each other up. ***1/4"

Cage's suplex to the outside was awesome, and Pentagon systematically destroying him at the end was just great. I think they could top this but doesn't look like they'll have a chance anytime soon."

[8.0] "A wild brawl between the Machine and Zero Fear himself. Cage and Pentagon are no strangers to each other, so seeing them both go at it and try to destroy each other was very cool to watch. It wasn't a "deathmatch" sort of match as it was more akin to an american style spot fest brawl with lots of weapons involved. Pentagon pretty much destroyed Cage in several ways to finally win the match, ****1/4."
