Chihiro Hashimoto vs. Jordynne Grace

[7.0] "A match between two powerhouses doing exactly what you would expect from a powerhouse match. It is hard-hitting, with some strong offense, with strong powerbombs, but I think it is missing another gear in terms of pace, which is perhaps understandable given both of their styles. They repeat some of the same sequences, trading strikes and clotheslines trying to knock each other down without succeeding, or provoking each other into hitting even harder. But ultimately, they are two very good wrestlers who deliver the kind of match you would expect."

[8.0] "Some really nice big hoss moves. The finish sequence for example was cool. The flow of the match was a bit lacking though, if they got more familiar with each other, they could have probably put up an excellent match."

[8.0] "Great match! It was so cool to see Grace in Japan and on top of that against someone like Hashimoto. It was really fun strength vs. strength match with both showing how strong they are. For me it was a little too short, i was enjoying it so much and then Jordynne hit vertebreaker and Juggernaut Driver for a 3 count. Overall very nice encounter with lots of cool wrestling. ****"

[7.0] "I actually never saw Chihiro Hashimoto wrestle before and I wasn't disappointed at all. She's a good powerhouse with strong moves. I'm glad to see Jordynne Grace and her click so well. I'll definitely watch more of Hashimoto in the next months. Overall, a really fun fight to watch, obviously not a banger but a good one to be introduced to Hashimoto."

[6.0] "An old fashioned hoss fight. It was a bit one paced so it did not always hold my attention but it wasn't bad."

[7.0] "Hashimoto and Grace hit each other really hard in thid match. A hoss battle. I felt like there was more left on the table though. A fine match 3.25/5 Stars"

[8.0] "All around hoss fight that was hard hitting and physical. Both ladies are truly underrated in bringing these kind of bangers out of whomever they face. I would love to see a rematch down the line (****)"

[6.0] "Huh. I love Jordynne Grace. I love big match Hash, but this...this one doesn't really come together that well. Yeah, it has some dun hoss spots but I wanted more."

[8.0] "Two meat heads going power for power delivering some powerhouse moves to one another, and those strikes felt heavy, especially Hashimoto's forearm strikes in between Grace's shoulder blades. Some delightful hoss work between these two. Chihiro gave Jordynne a bit too much in terms of selling for a good stretch there after the apron spot considering she wasn't going over, but still, what a fun, exhilarating time this match is. GOOD hoss match. ****"

[9.0] "This was really great, a big hoss battle filled with stiff lariats and damn crazy powerbombs! I have never seen Jordynne wrestle before, but she impressed me with her power, speed and some of her strikes. Big Hash put in another awesome performance full of explosivity, with some genuine "fuck you" powerbombs that almost had Jordynne bumping on her neck to boot! I fully expected a draw going in, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a decisive finish. I would've liked more of a closing sequence, though it was nice that the finishing moves had been teased earlier in the match. Good stuff, a hell of a power battle!"

[6.0] "This was disappointing. On paper this should have been a great hoss battle, but that's not what happened. Grace and Hash deliver on the big moves, but it went by slowly and it felt like they didn't have much chemistry. This just never got into that second gear and then has an abrupt finish with Grace winning. No surprise she won, but this match definitely could have been better. 6/10"

[7.0] "7.5 - Nobody quite moves like Jordynne Grace, and Hashimoto displayed excellent chemistry with here. Hashimoto's powerbombs were incredible. Only downside is it shouldn't have felt like such a concrete victory, I was expecting more back-and-forth for the finish."

[6.0] "Easily the biggest disappointment of the show, with the only competition being the state of Iwata's booking. This was supposed to be an awesome hoss battle with power moves and the potential to be something special. Instead, it was kind of a plodding mess and the end result was kind of a joke. I wanted to love this, but I can't even say I liked it much. Sad."

[10.0] "This match exemplifies everything that I want in a wrestling match. Reminded me of watching 90's Japanese wrestling for the first time. When a match invokes feelings like that it is something special. A Power wrestling sprint at it's finest and the crowd ate it all up and so did I. I want so much more of this."

[5.0] "I was really looking forward to this match, Hash is one of my favs this year and I thought a match with Grace had good potential. Sadly Grace brought it down, it felt like they never meshed together and got worse in my eyes when Grace started no-selling some of Hashimoto's stiff offense. I know the finish was due to the result of their previous match and probably setup for a third one, but it felt unearned to me."

[7.0] "I think this was a very good match, but it had potential for more, specially if they were given more time. But is was still satisfied"

[8.0] "This was great, Jordynne and Chihiro are two of the best in the world. The ending fell a little bit flat for me though. Could've been longer"

[6.0] "This was solid, but rough around the edges and poorly paced. Grace and Hash didn't have great chemistry either, and the ending rubbed me the wrong way, just abrupt, and it felt wholly unearned for Grace. Otherwise, you get what you'd expect from these two, some power moves, and a bit of the meathead schtick, and so on. Wish they could've laid some stiffer strikes in, or come up with some more creative sequences, but I didn't seem like Grace was up to the task. If you loved this, fair play to you, but Hashimoto has had numerous better matches this year alone. 3 Stars."

[9.0] "Personally, I am a massive fan of these two and I was very excited to see these two clash, both being amazing power wrestlers. It really delivered, and it was an incredible match, the match had more of a deliberate pace, but it never too slow, there was enough going on throughout and built really well. Both did really good strikes throughout the contest, but the major highlight was the disgusting suplexs, they made me wince and feel a bit sick at certain points. I would love Grace to do more Japan dates (doubt that tho), she had the best Grace Driver yet. ****1/2"

[10.0] "I watched this match live and then took a nap (I'm still recovering from Covid mind you.) When I woke up I had a thought. If I think this is a Five Star match, I have to say it's a GENERATIONAL match. That it will be one that should be looked back for what two haase women's match would look like. Is this better than Masa Kitamiya vs. Takashi Sugiura? I think it is. Is this on the level of Hansen, Gordy, Brody, and Tenryu? Maybe. What it was definitely was the craziest haase match I have seen maybe in my entire life. Just two big women absolutely demolishing each other and it was just insane. The intensity and the power in this match was crazy good. I loved it. If it's not a perfect 5 star match, it's damn near close. There are no mistakes. There is no downgrade in intensity that not intentional to show a weakening of the combatants and when it was all over, I wanted more of something I will never see again. I am personally of the opinion that Jordynne Grace is overrated. Boy was she not on this afternoon. Beautiful match."
