[9.0] "Excellent match from two excellent performers. Saree is excellent and a hell of a striker; her kicks and dropkicks land right on the mark to Giulia's face. Giulia has a plate in her wrist, which is the story of this match, from a recent injury from when Bozilla landed on it. Giulia starts off with a lot of mat wrestling and submission holds. It seems she has no shortage of holds and submissions. When the striking starts, you know it's for real. As many joshi women do, these two hit hard. Saree gets in the damage with her dropkicks and running kicks as well. Giulia hits a number of suplexes, and Saree returns the favor with one or two. Sareee sends Giulia off the top rope with a fisherman's suplex and follows it up with two hard foot stomps to the torso from the top. Legit offense there from Sareee. Leading to the finish, Sareee kicks out after a Glorious Driver then gets an armbreaker on Giulia, tearing off her sleeve and wrist brace in the process. Giulia is able to escape with a rope break. Giulia tries a finisher again, this time with a Northern Lights Bomb, but again there's a kickout. Sareee hits a Uranage, but Giulia kicks out. Another arm hold by Saree follows, a Fujiwara armbar, bending the fingers back far until the ref calls for the bell. It's a ref stoppage, so Giulia didn't tap or give up. These two are great and work well together. Great pacing to the match that builds as it goes."

[8.0] "Beautiful Madness... what has WWE done to you? This was a good back and forth struggle between 2 of the best wrestlers Marigold has ever had. The biggest issue was the finish. The ending was abrupt and very anticlimactic."

[7.0] "Match was good but the ending was very anti climatic.The submission battles were fun to watch and the piledriver through the table was a sick spot. Both wrestlers played their part"

[8.0] "(written on dropkickd 4 months ago) i bought into the giulia hype as soon as she appeared on nxt so i had to watch some of her stuff and this is an amazing match. these 2 really looked like they hated each other, every suplex and forearm i saw got a reaction out of me. never seen saree's stuff before either so i gotta check that out too. that table piledriver was fucking insane, imagine her hitting that shit on roxanne perez. also loved saree just chucking chairs at giulia on the outside on some ecw shit. submission work was perfect you would think it was two bryan danielsons out there. definitely intend on keeping up with marigold now someone please slide the wrestle universe login im begging you."

[8.0] "A solid match between Guilia and Sareee. Guilia's first match back post wrist injury and it played into the bout. It was ultimately her wrist that would be her downfall. ***3/4"

[8.0] "The match starts off quite slow, but it picks up after 5 minutes or so. It isn't a high-flyer or flashy match, but still a very good match. Pretty stiff too, and both players got their offense in each other, with Sareee focusing on Giulia's recently injured arm and threatening to break her fingers to force a ref stoppage."

[10.0] "Giulia vs. Sareee at Dream Star Fighting Marigold for the title was nothing short of a classic. From the opening bell, both women demonstrated why they are two of the most formidable talents in the world of wrestling. The raw intensity, the high stakes, and the sheer passion each competitor brought to the ring was palpable. This match was an emotional rollercoaster that left everyone on the edge of their seats! Giulia once again showed why she is an absolute force of natureher blend of brute strength, precision, and undeniable charisma is second to none. Her intensity in every strike, her ability to control the pace of the match, and the way she dictates the action with a cold, calculating style sets her apart as one of the best in the business today. On the other hand, Sareee brought her signature resilience, hard-hitting offense, and technical brilliance to the ring. Sareee has this incredible ability to keep the crowd emotionally invested in every moment, and she gave it her all in this battle, showing why shes one of the most respected names in wrestling. The back-and-forth action was pure magiceach near-fall had the audience on their feet, and every high-impact move felt like it could be the end of the match. Both women brought out the absolute best in each other, and its clear they are two of the top talents not just in Japan, but in the world. Giulia vs. Sareee at Dream Star Fighting Marigold wasnt just a title match; it was a clash of two generational talents, and it showcased everything that makes professional wrestling so incredible. The chemistry between these two was undeniable, and this match will be remembered for years to come as one of the defining moments of this generation of wrestlers. Truly an instant classic!"

[7.0] "[3.5*] Giulia is the exact same as Will Ospreay. I am not saying this as an offense because both of them are formidable talents, but they also rely heavily on their formulas, so when they need to do something different than that, it may suck. It happened with Will against Daniel Garcia, where his heel work was a masterpiece of dog shit, and it happened with Giulia on the first half of this match. Her control segments were pretty bad, if we are being honest. She is not a natural at it and it just looked bad. I know most people just do not give a shit about it and that is fine, I actually expected the average rating to be + than 9.0, but this kind of thing really bother me a little bit. The second half however was great, with a lot of emotion, nearfalls and some nasty bumps from Giulia, I was actually surprised that she took those bumps with a WWE contract. At the end of the day I thought this was a great match, but nowhere near a Joshi MOTYC level, with a lot of flaws in Giulias side. I have seen a lot of better big matches from Sareee."

[10.0] "While it wasn't quite as brutal or menacing as the Utami vs. Iyo match, it was just as good, if not better, in terms of in ring work. The match did feel gritty however, and Giulia proved once again she can put on a borderline 5 star match anytime she's asked to. Sareee continues to look better and better from what I have seen. The ending felt a little strange, but I understand the desire to protect Giulia before going to WWE, however I wish they could have had a more brutal ending than they did, something similar to the tombstone in the previous match."

[8.0] "Really good match overall, feels a bit overrated to me compared to some other great joshi matches this year but still easy to see why folks liked it. Sareee looked great as always. Giulia, well, she does some things well but she's not one of my favorites. But she held her own well enough. I disliked the finish, I did not at all buy the referee stoppage, but still good overall."

[7.0] "Very good match, I didn't thought it was better than IYO SKY vs Utami Hayashishita, but it was close, they didn't disappointed and closed the show in a very good way, they worked extremely stiff like expected, I loved the piledriver at the table, it was a proper main event, they were trying to destroy each other the whole time, and if in the previous match the ending was underwhelming, in this one it was incredible, a lot of emotion and near finishes, like a closer should always be, I was enjoying a lot those ending stretches, very unpredictable - {***3/4}"

[9.0] "Apart from the very anticlimactic ending Giulia and Saree succeed in putting on an epic main event while facing the unenviable task of having to follow an all time great match between Iyo and Utami. ****1/2"

[9.0] "People's expectations were higher after the Iyo Sky vs. Utami match. Maybe that's why they didn't like this match. I watched this match again later and it was a pretty good match."

[4.0] "I agree with the people who think it was a bad match. It really was. I didn't like much Utami vs. Iyo, but this match was much worse. Here I enjoyed nothing. A lack of chemistry and interesting action, tiresome attempts to make everything look epic as hell, a lack of selling. And as an icing on the cake - a strange final. I have nothing against referee stoppage results, but this time I just didn't belive Giulia was about to quit or needed this stoppage. Sareee is far from being in my top of favourite wrestlers, but I still had more expectations this match. Another disappointment though not as big as the previous match (6 for Uta-Iyo is more disappointing for me, yes)."

[7.0] "****1/2 great match, intense in most of the match, excellent tough moves with those exquisite suplexes, very good fluidity, great chemistry and a very good ending using Giulia's injury, that day was a great wrestling day 3 MOTY conteders and this match in 1 Day"

[4.0] "Really poor match, dreadfully overrated - I can only imagine that most folks weren't paying much attention. I mean, for the first 20 minutes, none of the moves worked. Giulia spent a good spell pretzeling Sareee's knee, so Sareee responds with rope-running kicks and double stomps from the top. Sareee goes after the injured wrist and Gill Ospreay casually fires back with a haymaker lariat. A gnarly looking table piledriver has zero lasting effect, they trade fighting spirit Germans and one counts, and then the ref decides enough is enough despite Giulia showing no sign of quitting *3/4"

[9.0] "To me, by far the highlight of the show. Not without reason given the greater heat they'd built up coming off the back of the tag match in May, but when you have two of the more intense performers on the planet going at it I'm not sure they even needed that much help. Beautiful, brutal, aggressive, well-wrestled back-and-forth stuff with an absolutely outstandingly executed ugly finish that gets the winner over as a killer while protecting the loser."

[10.0] "Good technical wrestling in the first part of the match. As they trade submissions, it starts to get more hard hitting. Both women looked fantastic. It went back and forth throughout the match. Very good performances from both women"

[4.0] "Giulia is a funny wrestler, I have to wonder if she actually has that bad of a brain for wrestling or was she actually not wanting to try here? Regardless of the answer, the result was a quite shit match. From the weird selling and goofy mannerisms, Giulia is so unlikable but she can do so much worse, bad offense, sometimes with little care to or simply without any intent behind what she was doing, she also has an injury that she had going into this that worked on during the match and it never bothered her in anyway, of course it didn't. Unfortunately Sareee is not a miracle worker to get something out of someone like this, no matter how hard she tries to hit."

"Best match on the card and a great bout to introduce the biggest prize in Marigold. Even though Sareee had to viciously work on Giulia's injured hand to get that win, the fact that she beat Giulia again is a big deal and sells her like a huge hurdle to overcome.****1/2"

[9.0] "Tremendous main event that had plenty of drama, brilliant storytelling and physically intense action. However, I think the finish keeps me from going the full boat here. I get protecting Giulia, but I would have liked if the referee waited a bit longer to call for the referee stoppage to make it feel like she had no escaping from the armbar. (****3/4)"

[8.0] "After their previous encounter, I was anticipating this match to be a frantic display of them throwing bombs at one another from bell to bell, but instead, they opted for a different pace taking their time to create drama and escalate the action as time went on (I'm way too used to Giulia matches feeling like a disorganized fight and a struggle from beginning to end). The match still had grit and snug moments. There's a point somewhere in the middle of the match where Sareee sets her sights on Giulia's wrist and I'm left wondering if the intention was to take the match in that direction and continue to target the wrist till that finish but dropped it because she got booed. Just something I'm curious about. Very good match. ****1/4"

[7.0] "Match was rather good yet still always felt like it could have been better. Giulia just came back from her injury so I'll cut her some slack. Liked it how they used the injury for the matchfinish. Still one or two kicks out less after the Uranages would have been fine."

[10.0] "The storytelling was weaker than the Iyo vs Utami match but the action was way better being far less one sided and much more brutal and crispy. I didn't find the first half that boring actually and the drivers in the end seemed nasty, only drawback was that the ending was really underwhelming and not as epic as the rest of the bout. ****3/4"

[7.0] "This was a very intense, hard-hitting match bogged down by a finish that I assume was meant to protect Giulia as she prepares to leave for WWE? Giulia's selling of her wrist was inconsistent at best until the brace was taken off, especially since English commentary made sure to mention the metal plate in the surgically-repaired wrist and she didn't seem to have much trouble using it up until then or even show that the many moves she used with her wrist were taking a toll. But all told I enjoyed the work from both women and they did a good job of roping the crowd in before the finish."

[9.0] "Tremendous match. Aura is immensely overstated these days, but Giulia has it. A true star presence that is unmistakable. It pairs perfectly with Sareee's understated, cold, nasty demeanor. There is a true undercurrent of nastiness that takes place here, from Giulia squaring up right at the bell to their physicality and the grittiness that they work with. There's a true sense of competition as well, with both stringing offense together rather than just going from one move to the next in the early going, they work through all the "rest holds" to make them stand out, and the way in which Giulia could continually fight through the wrist injury and have it be a weapon, but also her ultimate downfall. It winds up with the usual bombfest finish you often see with big joshi main events which can get hit or miss for me, but it mostly works thanks to the talent involvement. Great effort from both and establishes the prestige of the new title. ****1/2"

[6.0] "This is a tragedy. This is the second time Giulia has done this shit and this time she did it to someone who could have DRAGGED her to the best match of her career. This match is a slog. I feel like the entire match is Sareee and Giulia struggling to get their shit over on each other. Sareee at some points in the beginning has to muscle Giulia over for suplexes, has to have a push and pull struggle to get one of them into some chairs, and has to physically drag Giulia to the ground for an arm bar. This looked like a shoot in places and not in the good way. I don't understand why she's like this. Why does Giullia struggle so hard to not look weak in a loss and refuse to do clean and nice business on the way out? Speaking of not doing clean business; this shit is a fake job. The ref calls for a stoppage. She couldn't tap off a real injury for a title that she's not going to win because she's leaving. It's a fake job. This match is not bad. It's fine. It's got heat and hate, but it's executed like dogshit and has a political finish. BOOO."

[9.0] "I was going to give this match a 10 because it was better than io vs utami due to it being competitive and having meaning along with great action but the ending was clumsily done which just took it down"

[9.0] "Giulia entered with the most aura of anyone on the show but was trepadacious early on. There were a few too many repeated submissions early on. The piledriver through the table was excellent but no-sold a bit. Their strikes, especially Giulia's forearms were excellent. Sareee's suplexes were great as well. Very competitive down the stretch, and the wrist targeting was great."

[9.0] "Great main event for the Marigold World Championship. As expected, Giulia and Sareee beat the hell out of each other. You get all the classic spots of a big Giulia match, including a piledriver through a table. The first half was a little slow, but still good, as they built up to a much better second half. Sareee attacking Giulia's injured wrist led to a ref stoppage finish, which could have been done better and is a bit weak for such a big match. It definitely felt like they were building to Giulia winning, but you can't go wrong with Sareee as the top champion. 9/10"

[7.0] "I thought this match was good but struggled with it's pacing for a large portion of it. It would heat up only to slow down but not in a compelling psychological way. Just rest holds that never really led to anything special until the final 10 minutes or so. Giulia is fine for most of the match but Sareee really and truly shows you why she is the WOTY so far. Some fantastic sequences of suplexes and strikes, the final minutes with the dueling finishers had me out of my seat. Very happy to see Sareee crowned as the inaugural champion. **** 1/4"

[9.0] "A much more physical match than Iyo vs Hayashishita which worked in its favor for me. This was about being the inaugural champ of a promotion, and about Sareee having the W in their only other singles meeting half a decade prior. Sareee was so good in this, her performance kept standing out to me for how nasty all of her offense looked (in a good way) from the use of Giulia's hair in submissions to DEEP angles on her suplexes while showing a ton of urgency. Giulia's hand became part of the story in a pretty good way where it was a weapon and a weak point all at once, and in general she had some good big offense as well (the piledriver through the table was fucking clean too). The final five minutes had a whole bunch of truly excellent nearfalls, some I bit on pretty hard. Finish itself felt like a weird way to protect Giulia with a ref stoppage on the hand submission but I'll take it. Better than the prior match IMO. ****1/4+"

"Loved the violence these two bought. Not just the spots like piledriver through the table but also the stiffness of their strikes and forearm exchanges. Although the match felt a bit dragging at points and I wish they could have shaved 4-5 minutes off, still a great match which fell short of reach MOTY candidate levels."

[10.0] "What a match! Sareee is actually the best female wrestler in the world. The fight was very intelligent, Sareee worked well on Giulia's injury for the victory. An unexpected result!"

[9.0] "Sareee has become a vessel for wrestlers to express their toughness. On this occasion it was Giulia's time to enter the inferno. They delivered the rigorous hard-hitting fight you'd expect. Giulia's kangoku-gatame clashed with Sareee's reverse Indian death lock early on, and later the match escalated into a fierce exchange of elbow strikes. The bloody mouths, scars and bruises told the whole story. Giulia had come in with a recovering wrist, which Sareee took advantage of as desperation grew. The finish was very shocking, with Sareee ripping apart Giulia's wrist brace to apply a tortuous submission hold. The result and how it played out defied convention, catching everyone off guard in classic Giulia fashion."

[9.0] "Would have given a 10 until the ending. Excellent drama and physicality, minus one or two spots, but that's minor nitpicking. Some of these other reviews... if this match is "poor" then there's only been about ten good matches, ever."

[5.0] "Not particularly good, in all honestly. For better or for worse, this is what Giulia matches are now. You get the brawl on the outside, the big match table spot, and then some time-wasting until the last couple of minutes. Sareee tried to bring focus to the match by working over Giulia's very real-life broken wrist which she has recently recovered from, but Giulia didn't bother to sell it beyond slightly. Of course, it factors into the finish, but Giulia didn't do any of the work to make it feel special. It's the first poor Sareee match all year despite her best efforts and was certainly disappointing. 2.5ish Stars."

[7.0] "This felt like a Giulia match more than a Sareee match if you catch my drift. The grappling was largely uninteresting compared to like a Sareee/Hashimoto match. The brawling was cool when Sareee was just throwing chairs around, and I'll never be against Giulia piledriving people through tables. The bombs were good but nothing I hadn't seen before. The limb targeting came in a bit late on Giulia's arm, I get that we had to get to Sareee "heeling" it up, but she was already beating the shit out of Giulia and throwing chairs on her, so she had every opportunity beforehand to do that. The finish was sweet with Sareee just trying break Giulia's wrist. I may sound harsh, but I did enjoy the match, it just didn't live up to my lofty expectations for two hard hitters like these two. ***1/2"

"Great fight to introduce the Marigold World Title. It was an unpredictable match with very daring spots, such as a piledriver on a table, which showed the size of the rivalry between Giulia and Sareee. Despite the slow start, the match began to take shape in the second half."

[8.0] "Didnt surpass Iyo and Utamis match but still a great main event. The first half was quite slow but it definitely got a lot better. Ending was a bit weird but I guess they wanted to protect Giulia whilst making Sareee look like a badass. Sareee is definitely one of the best female wrestlers in the world."

[9.0] "This match had high expectations and met them, though it didn't really go beyond. I didn't looked like Giulia was just back from injury (though it played a big part in the finish), she and Sareee worked quite well together though it was more a Giulia match than a Sareee one for most of it. The finish was clever with Sareee ruthlessly attacking Giulia's recently injured wrist and her fingers too for good measure, prompting the referee to end the match. It protects Giulia while Sareee looks like a killer ready to go to any ends to win."

[9.0] "Great match although the first half was a bit slow. Giulia matches definitely follow a formula that she likes to stick to but I thought the last ten minutes were genuinely great."

[10.0] "The war for the title of Ace of the company kept its promises! Unfortunately for Giulia, she had a weak point, her wrist injury, and Sareee knew how to take advantage of it. Both gave a performance that deserves no other rating than a 10! Absolutely phenomenal!"

[6.0] "This was overall a solid match but I expected a lot more of a match with Sareee and Giulia included. Thus first part of the match was a bit boring and not really much happend, than it went like a typical Giulia match and of course a table spot. Good last 5 minutes but as a whole I expected much more from it ."

[8.0] "This was a great hard hitting match, but there wasn't really any innovation or creativity put into it. It was a standard Giulia main event, which are good, but get tiresome after a while."

[5.0] "Boring main event. The first ten minutes was just them having a generic match. They did the same spot where someone climbs to the top rope, waits awkwardly for the other person, and then oh no i'm caught four times. Giulia got her pile driver through the table PPV spot in and then Sareee just starts spamming the same suplex over and over. Then I guess neither wanted the other to go over so they had a referee stoppage around Giulia's wrist. Sloppy flop and disappointing end to the card. Weird choice to put the belt on a freelancer who already is a champion in a promotion that can't draw."

[9.0] "A very good World title match, maybe my expectations were higher for this. But Giulia had just come back form injury and obviously wasn't 100&. Some great stuff in here though, the usual with Giulia matches and she put Sareee through a table and threw her into the chairs haha. In the end though it was a creative finish, used her injury and honestly it protected Giulia via ref stoppage. Sareee looked strong as hell and would do anything to win. Now she's the top champ and self titled Ace. The finish although smart, could've been done better and made clearer. Viewers and the crowd were unsure and I thought they hit the time limit at first. But a great main event. 4.75/5"

[10.0] "[5 Stars] WHAT A MATCH! My God, the intensity and suspense I felt throughout the match was so intense! It was a very dynamic and emotional match with some crazy nearfalls. And the result - what audacity! I'd never have thought the match would have ended like that - well done Marigold for surprising me in such a way - this is clearly a MOTY Contender and it's my 2nd favorite women's match of the year after Iyo vs Utami on the same evening, and I'd even go so far as to say it's one of my favorite women's matches of all time. I 100% recommend a real ***** ! Giulia & Sareee are STARS"
