The story that was told along with the move sets being so complimentary and AMAKUSA's incredible selling had this being a very dramatic and fun match. Daga's incredible Jr. Heavyweight title run comes to an end, but there was nobody who really could've been a better choice to do it. Really really fun and enjoyable match to continue the momentum of what has been a great show so far. The final stretch especially had the crowd going wild and was full of a lot of false finishes and amazing moves. Really adds to this incredible match. |

| 14 | 20.10.2024 | FelipeTalksGraps | 7.0 | [3.5*] Incredible match, that was very different than the Wagners vs Golpeadores one. It had a much different pacing than what I expected, with limb-work and pretty solid selling on the leg by AMAKUSA. They did a lot of incredible spots that were not the main focus of the match, so this looked like a proper title match rather than an exhibition match. Loved this one a lot. |

| 18 | 05.09.2024 | danzitorock | 7.0 | This match was very good, it had some bad executed moves here and there, but they absolutely picked up the pace at the end, specially after the poisonrana reversal, and the ending stretch was extremely unpredictable and with a lot of nearfalls, the crowd was excited and we had a lot of drama and emotion. Daga controlled most of the actions of this match, and did a pretty good job by doing so, he looked credible as hell. The match had all the elements that a Jr Heavyweight bout usually presents, but also with thrilling moments, by which title matches should always have - {***1/4} |

| 26 | 05.08.2024 | PR | 7.0 | Good pacing in this match. Got a bit worried at first with a lot of headlocks and brawling around the ring, but in typical Japan-fashion it simply built up to more. Some nice spots and counters, good mix of technical moments and highflying. Daga really improved a lot in all aspects since I saw him first in Lucha Underground. |

Still, I thought this was Daga's most impressive performance as junior champ so far and it's great to see AMAKUSA as champ again. |

The last few minutes I thought Daga was going to win, that's how well they did that last sequence. I look forward to Amakusa's reign. |

| 75 | 14.07.2024 | Gameplayer | 8.0 | A very good match with a classic underdog triumph. They were given enough time and the ending was explosive. Daga was a good champion and his long reign added prestige to the title. Good for Amakusa, he's a very good worker and deserved to be champion again. Rating: ****1/4 (4.25) |
| 76 | 14.07.2024 | patyis | 8.0 | Good match. Amakusa went with his high flying offense and Daga who did well as champion did a great job smashing the leg of Amakusa. Until the end of the match there were some moves that could turned out badly but overall they managed to complete a good match. |
| 77 | 14.07.2024 | wingedeagle | 8.0 | Shockingly great match and perhaps Daga's best in Japan. They hit hard, they nailed their spots and the stretch run was pulled off with incredible precision. Let's get a great title reign now that the belt is on someone who's worlds more consistent. |
| 78 | 13.07.2024 | DENDY | 8.0 | Both men looked excellent here from the opening stretch, with a really strong series of exchanges between the two. I was excited to see AMAKUSA back and he really showed up. Daga did good heel work, but the crowd were clearly quite tired by this point, so the heat was lessened somewhat. This was a really epic and by the end the crowd had really woken up, the final stretch was incredibly exciting, primed by the sheer desire for AMAKUSA to win. AMAKUSA managed the win after getting a tight roll up on Daga to gain the GHC Jr title for the second time. This matchup is well worth a watch, very well performed by both men and a clear MOTN so far. |
