Carol Midori & Michiko Nagashima vs. Chaparita ASARI & Chikako Shiratori

[4.0] "Odd little rookie tag opener. They're obviously and sincerely inspired by the big four-woman tags of this period, and they work at a high rate for a lot of this, and - shockingly - they sometimes half-succeed, partly because ASARI is doing ASARI Things, but ultimately the quality isn't quite there and the finishing run includes a bunch of obvious botches. Nagashima is wholly anonymous, Shiratori's one real strength at this point - cruel submission work - isn't used at all as she takes her side's heat segments, and Midori is sort of just competently there. It's not a bad watch at all til the end, it's just not much. 2/5"

[7.0] "Very good opener from younger generation of both promotions. With some of the spots you wouldn't believe these are relatively unexperienced girls... but then ASARI would miss so hard it would be a good reminder. Still it was a worth watching bout. ***1/2"
