[7.0] "A solid match, but I do not remember why they were running a "Can they coexist? " angle for this feud. I understand that the rest of The Mogul Embassy turned on Strickland, for some reason, but he realistically could have gotten someone else. Speaking of that turn, though, it doesn't really make sense to me why you'd kick someone out of your group when they're the current World Champion. I get you might want a title shot, but I don't remember there being a lot of tension present beforehand. Maybe I'm misremembering, though."
[4.0] "They were given 10 minutes of 'can we coexist' and we ended up with some really lazy wrestling. AEW really needs to commit with the Gates of Agony because there is something special with them but they are far from a complete product. Tag Team rules didn't mean anything here but it's classic AEW so to take points of for that is pointless. I thought Bishop Kaun was the stand out performer here."
[5.0] "[2.5*] I thought this one was the worst match on the night. As much as the Gates of Agony look good, they are booked as jobbers and they literally never won against proper competitors on 2-2 matches, so why the fuck were they facing the FD Main Event participants in a Can They Coexist Match while being dominant for 80% of the bout? Match was not even bad, it was good, but just entirely fucking stupid."
[6.0] "Fun main event, surprisingly enough I think that Gates of Agony carried the match, they were excellent, very good presentation, with posture and power moves, and aside from a botched moonsault their performance was very good, they proved to be a valuable asset on the tag division. The structure of the match was expected, with Swerve and Ospreay didn't understanding each other very well, but working some sequences and doing some nearfalls. Post-match angle was also predictable, with Swerve attacking Ospreay. This was a fun match, but not ideal to main event your go-home show - {**3/4}"
[5.0] "This was another mediocre match, I am not opposed to can they coexist matches but it was just a general continuation of nothing special from some of the earlier matches. it wasn't particularly bad, but I start my ratings at 5 when watching and then can either move up or down and this didn't make me want to move in either direction."
[7.0] "This was a really really enjoyable match. I need Swerve and Osprey as a team once they're both done with the World Title. Gates of Agony are the perfect opponents. They could mount a credible offence without overshadowing the actual story."
[7.0] "Very good main event, the great combination of a good match and great story building for the PPV. The aftermatch angle was really well executed too. (***3/4)."
[6.0] "Another good match that wasn't too terribly interesting otherwise. The booking of this match felt lazy though, and reminiscent of booking patterns that Vince McMahon practiced. I can't say I'm a fan of it."
[5.0] "This was fine, paint by numbers but no heat and no doubt what was going to happen. A few cool spots like Swerve's stomp through the ropes but Ospreay doing the community theatre level acting over the tiger driver 91 is so incredibly lame. And is he supposed to be so dumb that he doesn't realize he is going to do the tiger driver 91 until he gets his opponent locked in for the move? **1/2"
[5.0] "A pretty pointless match imo - why have your two guys in a World Championship match have a 'can they co-exist? ' match as the go-home? Why do they try to co-exist? This match would've been better if they committed to kicking each other in the face, rather than holding back"
[6.0] "A bit of strange match booking wise. Idk why you'd book a can they coexist tag match after that excellent promo exchange that Ospreay and Swerve had last week which made it very clear that, no, they can't coexist. The match itself was fine, with Swerve and Ospreay essentially just hitting their moves and GoA getting some decent looking offense in of their own. But even despite that, this was still just a strange match to book and as a result I wasn't really invested in this. ***"
[6.0] "Kind of a weird main event as it was another match on the show where they paired future opponents together to see if they could co-exist. Swerve and Ospreay hit their moves but the finish was never in doubt and didn't get a lot of investment from me or the crowd."
[6.0] "Hey, I thought Bishop Kaun looked like a beast in this match, so that was cool. Ospreay and Swerve were pretty lazy here by their standards, and the whole will they won't they thing is pretty lame. 3 Stars."
[8.0] "My expectations for this match weren't super-high, and I thought all four guys over-delivered. There were some truly memorable/creative spots in here (e.g., the assisted poison-rana, Swerve's slide into Bishop Kaun for a suplex pick-up, the springboard Swerve stomp on Toa Liona). The only real technical error I recall from the match was when Ospreay and Liona got their timing wrong on the shoulder charge. Otherwise the match was coherently laid out and did a nice job of telling an in-ring story that connects with the broader non-wrestling story of Ospreay overlooking Swerve's abilities ahead of their match at Forbidden Door. A very good closing match/segment for a very good episode of Dynamite."
[6.0] "Very shocked that this match was so competitive and as long as it was honestly i didnt expect this to go as long as it did. I really dont like the whole can they coasist type story line in a title match build up but i feel like this was done pretty solid and i did enjoy it more then i expected heading into the night. The shit from will to swerve which ultimately led to swerve pretty obviously trying to get one back on will but he ducked out of the way i thought was pretty good. And then the finish of the match with swerve showing his ruthlessness snapping the arm and then will hitting the hidden blade. Will taking the title and the swerve showing hes had enough of that and takes will out. Im excited for sunday but swerve MUST win this sunday. Have hangman page be the elites wildcard have hangman beat bryan danielson in the finals and then at wembly we get swerve defending against hangman with hangman being the won to being the world title to the elite giving the elite all the gold and taking the world title from swerve. Theres a lot of good interesting storys you can tell i believe with hangman and okada both being in the elite maybe even hangman not wanting to do kenny dirty because he still cares about him. Im hoping that hangman is who the elite is talking about as there wildcard."
[8.0] "Swerve and Ospreay's chemistry is surprisingly good. They both actively have the best in-ring talent. It is impossible not to praise their opponents in this match. They have a big share in many spots. For example, it was surprising that they could do the Spanish fly. I can't wait for the match at Forbidden Door."
[8.0] "Way better than predicted. Kaun and Liona are both really underrated, very athletic and actually use tag team moves which seems to be dying somewhat of a death. The swerve stomp to the outside looked dope."
[8.0] "This was a really good TV main event. The Swerve Stomp through the ropes to the outside was a great spot, but the undoubted highlight was Toa powering out of the Ospreay poisonrana, only to be sent crashing down again with the assist from Swerve. Awesome spot, and Toa getting to kick out of the Oscutter right after was a huge rub. I think GOA generally looked great in this! Also, I really dig the storyline of Ospreay hesitating, but Swerve pulling the trigger without any such hesitation. It'll make for an interesting match at FD!"
[7.0] "I was looking forward to this match, I knew it was going to be good and I wasn't disappointed, it was a lot of fun for a ten-minute main event like this. I didn't think it would be a much better match than BCC/LIJ and White/Fenix but here we are, it was. Gates Of Agony are maybe the most underrated tag team in the world and I love it when they shine like this, they really took their chance and delivered. Not a fan of the 'can they coexist' thing with Ospreay & Swerve but the match itself was good."
[7.0] "I wasn't expecting much from this but I was pleasentaly surprised by how it turned out, not just by the in-ring action (which I knew was going to be good) but especially from the storytelling. Action-wise this was really entertaining. Ospreay and Swerve had great chemistry and Gates of Agony are a great team. The slingshot swerve stomp on the floor was awesome and I loved the bycicle kick into the poison 'rana. The moment Ospreay superkicked Swerve was really well done and Liona's pounce followin that sent Will straight into the shadows realm. The storytelling, here, was great too. Ospreay hesitated before the tiger driver and went for the stormbreaker instead meanwhile Swerve had no hesitation in snapping Kaun's arm and then hitting Ospreay in the post-match with a house call. They were able to do something more than the classic "can they co-exist? " story and progressed very well their rivalry about Ospreay not being ready to carry the weight of both worlds on his shoulders. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[7.0] "I groaned at the part where Ospreay super kicked Swerve by mistake as Id rather them have just worked together instead of the added tension that spot set up but it was a good main event"
[9.0] "I was initially skeptical about this match, but I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. Not just for the in ring work, though that certainly didn't hurt. Swerve and Ospreay work great together, and had a lot of good co-ordination with their moves. Special mention goes to the pump kick leading to the reverse hurricanrana. But above it all, it marked the key differences between Ospreay and Swerve for the sake of their storyline. Ever since his face turn, especially after the Danielson match, Ospreay has hesitated in matches whenever it looked like he might really hurt them. Swerve on the other hand has no such hesitation, whether he's a face or a heel. So Ospreay nearly costing them the match due to his hesitations about the Tiger Driver, juxtaposed at the end of the match with Swerve snapping Kaun's arm to Ospreay's horror, made for a fantastic way to advance their story arc. And Swerve using the House Call on Ospreay when he snatched Swerve's belt once again was a nice cherry on top."
