[9.0] "A great main event, and I happy I got to see it live., it would have been fun to see Suzuki and Sabre tag more in Japan."

[8.0] "It was a very good match here, except Okada I think everyone was great, Okada even no selled a big submission to the arm to do an Ellbow Drop just after it, and when he had a cool counter he always wanted to do his Rainmaker, never searching to be interesting in some transitions. However, the 3 other guys were absolutely excellent. The exchanges between Ishii and Suzuki were full of great strikes and ZSJ just does awesome counters, like the one of Ishii's Sliding Larriat. ****"

Ishii and Suzuki were hitting each other so hard that you could feel it in your bones. Despite the location, all four men had their working shoes on, especially Ishii and Suzuki, and this match was excellent."

[9.0] "At first, Ishii and Suzuki seemed to be taking it seriously while Okada and ZSJ were just having fun. At some point though, the match turns up in intensity a lot, and we get a beautiful finishing stretch with a legitimately surprising finish. I gotta say though, RevPro should seriously get new announcers, these guys are horrible. ****1/4"

[10.0] "Absolutely awesome match. Zack was his usual great asshole self and the third best man of the match, while Okada was working great and with great fire. But the MVPs in this were Ishii and Suzuki, who absolutely tore the house down in magnificients strikes exchanges in front of an overall molten-hot crowd. The formula worked perfectly and it was indeed a near-perfect match imo, that blew their first one off the water. ****3/4"

[10.0] "Seriously, Suzuki and Sabre are legit contenders for tag team of the year. Their work was so awesome to watch here. And the tag team wrestling in NJPW this year definitely improves compared to the last few years. This match was so wonderful. Ishii was so great at doing FIP. His selling was top notch. And all 4 worked well together. The ishii/Suzuki brawling was always fun and Zack/Kazu interaction was interesting, too. The nearfalls, drama, crowd reaction were so great that made the match memorable."

[8.0] "Probably a slight notch below their Strong Style Evolve Long Beach match, but still pretty great. Okada, Suzuki, and Ishii are all some of the best wrestlers in the world, and ZSJ is awesome on his day, so this was always going to be very good at the least. I loved the portrayal of Okada's struggle after the end of his record-breaking reign. From the distorted new entrance theme to the totally different look to the limited physical display of arrogance; it all did a fantastic job in portraying him as someone clearly feeling bad for himself, but still trying his best to start over anew. Oddly enough, Okada didn't get much focus in this match. He got a few hot tags and provided a good level of work all around, but he didn't get as many spotlight moments as the other 3. ZSJ was polarising for me as always. His individual submission holds are awesome, and I especially love his counters out of nowhere, but his tendency to become a spot-monkey always hurts his credibility in my eyes. I know I've harped on about this annoying aspect of him for ages, but it sadly always bugs me. Ishii and Suzuki were of course the highlight with their awesome strike exchanges, filled to the brim with amazing selling from both men and aided by a raucous crowd. I sadly felt after their second big strike exchange that the match had overstayed its welcome. There would still be some further cool sequences involving all 4 men, but they felt like inferior rehashes of what we'd already seen. I was also disappointed to see Ishii ? the RPW champion ? submit to ZSJ, despite having a match with SUZUKI the next night. What sense is there in making your champion look weak going into his title match, especially when he loses to his challenger's sidekick instead of the challenger himself? Maybe NJPW simply insisted that Okada couldn't take the fall, so RPW were forced to make Ishii take it. Either way, I wasn't happy with that decision. Still a great match with all things considered, though. ***3/4"

[8.0] "One thing to take out of that match is that both Kazuchika Okada and Minoru Suzuki have tremendous presence about them. Their entrances for example. Both slight remixes but still exhilarating to watch. Helped that the fans exploded for both, Okada in particular. Yet another step in the story of Okada not being himself after that title lost. He posed this time but he changed his look from the golden robes to the tank top and the new red pants. I like them. They fit with his red ink submission and it gives Okada a new look. Small but a nice touch to show a change in Okada. Real good interactions with Zack Sabre Jr in the match, hints of Okada trying to indulge him the submission aspect of his training in the match. Something he tried in his title defence. Just a small glimpse of their match on Day Two but this match was mostly about Suzuki and Ishii. They beat the hell out of each other and brawled all over the floor. Fans went crazy for their strike exchange. The finishing stretch was really well done with some good near falls without going to over the top with it. ****"

[10.0] "Easily this would be the best New Japan tag team match of the year if it wasn? t for Bucks/Lovers. This was a total gang fight as Suzuki and Zack just took their CHAOS opponents to school and wrapped them up and beat the hell out of them in and out of the ring. Every interaction here was great; Suzuki/Ishii, Suzuki/Okada, Ishii/Zack, and Zack/Okada. 4 phenomenal wrestlers putting on a classic for the UK fans, ****3/4."

[9.0] "Time to start talking about Suzuki and ZSJ as one of the best tags in the world. They play off each other so well with Zack being the dickhead son and Minoru being the slightly worse dad. The work they put on Ishii was phenomenal and he of course sold it like death. The Okada hot tag was fun as we saw glimpses of the confident ace coming back only for Suzuki gun to kill it. Ending legitimately comes out of nowhere as it sets up night 2 perfectly. Great stuff, ****1/2"

[8.0] "A fantastic advertisement for the big singles matches that happened the next night, but also a one helluva match on it's own right. The highlights were Ishii's FIP segment w/ MiSu & ZSJ stretching him to shits, the lengthy Ishii vs. Suzuki strike exchange & then just everything after that was superb. ***3/4"
