Dante Martin vs. Lee Moriarty

[6.0] "Definitely ends before fully committing to second gear but this was good! They have a fun, simple technician vs. high flyer dynamic and they use it well. Would love to see a version of this where Moriarty gets a couple more minutes to work over Martin, make him struggle a little more to earn a victory, or have Moriarty go over idc I guess lol. The knee and meteora Martin landed to trigger the finish was really good and effective though. The crowd just wasn't that into this which affected its vibe and both guys were clearly at a weird point in their careers. ***"

[6.0] "The second-best match on the show, in my opinion. I can't lie when I say that I was hoping for a little more from these two, as I think they're both great young competitors, but this was still good. I love Moriarty, but Martin being in the Ladder Match probably makes a little more sense."

[6.0] "This was way too short. I was just getting into it when it ended. Hopefully, they run it back sometime with more time."

[5.0] "This was an alright enough match between lower card talent I suppose, but completely forgettable otherwise."

[7.0] "Good TV match, both are capable of more but they did quite well here for what this was I thought. Dante is still quick as hell and I love the way he moves, and Moriarty despite his lack of push is quite skilled on the mat. Maybe someday he'll get more due."

[6.0] "Tidy but unremarkable, which has been a bit of a theme with Moriarty's TV work. He shows great maturity in wrestling to his role, I'm just not convinced it'll help get him beyond that. Dante remains a work in progress also, of course, so this settled at decent with occasional flashes of firepower. **3/4"

[6.0] "This match was ok, some cool moves, just wished that Moriarty got the win there, he could use the momentum more, and I think Dante works better as a tag wrestler. (***)."

[5.0] "Another technically fine match that just didn't have much juice to make an impression beyond that. Lee Moriarty could use a win someday."

[6.0] "Good match. This match was fine technically and nothing about it was bad. The lack of crowd connection to the match showed as the only seemed to care about Dante's high flying. Lee is a great technical wrestler but at this point he needs to find a way to get the crowd more involved in his matches."

[7.0] "A solid, fast paced match between a great high flyer and great technician. They bounced off each other really well, and there was some good tension near the end. Dante's aerial manuevers and Moriarty's holds shined more than have in a while, and add on some great character work, and a nice upset win from Dante, and it makes for a fun match."

[5.0] "Match lacked heat despite being technically sound and just seemed there was a bit of a lack of fire in general tonight. Moriarty could have done with the win more"

[6.0] "Two guys who have a lot of potential and getting literally any sort of win would be pretty big for them, so this match was one of the rare times where there was something at stake combined with two guys who could conceivably win. I know Moriarty isn't as featured as much as Dante but he isn't that far off enough so it made it an interesting match with enough to wonder if they might actually go with him. Wasn't to be but still a good showing from him and Martin here. Really tight match with great work."
