Anthony Greene vs. Takashi Sugiura

[6.0] "I don't think this match was AS bad as people said, but it is a match that really makes Sugiura look like a dominant monster and Greene as just some guy. Major props to Greene selling like a star and making Sugiura look so good, but it was a really bad look for one half of the Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. What made it worse was the ending. A very weak roll up from Greene after getting his butt kicked. Now underdog comebacks and finishes are cool, but this one made Greene look so weak and lucky verses an actually good wrestler."

[5.0] "This was a weird one, in ring it was solid, but Sugiura was so dominant and seemingly refused to sell for Greene so Greene never actually looked any good. Sugiura just looked a bit stupid for losing in such an obvious way. As mentioned the actual action was solid but the no-selling from Sugiura was a bit too egregious for me."

[5.0] "This was pretty boring, which sucks because I was looking forward to this one because I love the 2 but it just didn't click"

[5.0] "This match feels kinda halfhearted and ends with a flukey pin. It's not a bad match but it doesn't do anything particularly memorable or interesting either."

[7.0] "The better of the two singles matches on this card. There was a tension here from the first minute as they bullied each other into the ropes with chops and breaks. I felt a half-hearted competition with Marafuji and Morris that was replaced by apprehension here. Greene showed the requisite pain and fear that you jave to have against Sugi. Sugi working the body/gut is something you don't see a often now, but Greene sold almost every strike like a Bas Rutten liver kick. Sure it was a fluke pin, but the crowd gasped at it; it worked. Anthony's chops work, too; they were the loudest on the card, so keep it up!"
