[6.0] "Actually pretty good! Rosa hits a gnarly discus forearm that shouldve knocked Deonna clean out imo. Wouldve been better than the silly cheap win Deonna got because of the ref's shitty positioning. ***1/4"
[4.0] "Apparently I missed something about this match, because it was very botchy, slow, with poor chemistry, and zero involvement of the crowd. This is the worst Deonna I have ever seen, I do not know what is happening to her. On the other side, Rose is coming back from her injury pace by pace. Maybe they were not the right opponents for each other. Even this, it was an adequate match for a preshow. [*3/4]"
[4.0] "The two ring general strikes again in another lackluster match with Thunder Rosa, it doesn't help that her opponent can't seem to reach the same heights she used to back in 2021, wonder what the extent of her injury was and if there was any longlasting damage."
[4.0] "A total nothing match that managed to be as generic as possible. They didn't wrestled bad/botchy but everything was average and textbook and not a single maneuver gif my attention. Anyway I guess that as for a random 10 minutes match in the Buy-In this could have been even worse. **1/4"
[6.0] "This was a good match. I'm a little disappointed that it was relegated to the pre-show. Thunder Rosa appears to be getting back into shape after her injury, and Deonna Purrazzo is finally getting comfortable in AEW."
[7.0] "I really liked this match and thought it was very good given how little heat the women's division has outside of the title scenes right now. I was pleasantly surprised to see Deonna Purrazzo get the win here too.Hopefully this match leads to bigger things for both women, but I'm not holding my breath."
[8.0] "Really solid match between two women who've lost in the shuffle a bit. Rosa's second good big match after her return and Deonna's best AEW match so far."
[6.0] "Above average for what we typically see on these pre-shows. Great heat between the two, the action was solid. The finish fell a bit flat for me, but hopefully it is only the start of a build to a major match."
[6.0] "It was a decent match for a buy in opener, both performers looked really good and I think this feud has the potential to still go on and le mera mera should finish her story so that hopefully justice is served."
[5.0] "Not a big fan of either but they were cooking for a minute, this was by far their best performances even though the match was short, and then the finish looked so lame. If it was a bit longer and the finish wasn't that bad then it could have been way higher."
[7.0] "This match was one of the best built-to on the card, and while I have my shortcomings regarding the setting in which it was wrestled, I can't do anything other than say it lived up to expectations. I thought that Thunder Rosa and Deonna did a great job at escalating since their previous match, while also leaving stones unturned ahead of what should be a really solid feud-ender. I loved the aggression and pace at which they worked, and I think that there is going to be a good, clean finish to counter what was a nefarious heel tactic. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised with the match, and I can't wait to see more."
[4.0] "Fine enough match but didn't really build on anything they've done before. Clearly set up just to get them an even score so they can have a blow off match. Problem is I don't think anyone cares about this feud or these two enough to really justify prolonging this anymore and with no clear direction for where they're going beyond it since they both flamed out of the title scene. A bit better than what you get on TV usually because there was no break to work through here which usually eats up a good chunk of the match."
[7.0] "This was well wrestled enough, but I wasn't entirely pleased with the ending (Deonna Purrazzo cheating by holding onto the rope to get the pin and the victory) because it means this feud is going to continue (Thunder Rosa literally yelling "THIS ISN'T OVER! " certainly seems to suggest that, anyway), and frankly.... I think we're all ready to move on from it. (I do love Thunder Rosa, but the feud is stale now, and I think both wrestlers would benefit from getting something new and fresh to do...)"
[9.0] "Ive followed Deanna since she got reseda from WWE. The first time was when she lost to Nia on Raw. And then she was a Super Main Eventer in TNA and was a Queen (literally she won a tournament). Then idk how its possibly she had some bad matches at the start of her AEW career, but this has to be her best match. Thunder Rosa is doing good now, she has a lot of really great matches, Since Deanna cheated its definitely going to be a feud, i hope that theres a stipulation match in the future for these two."
[7.0] "A very solid TV-level match that got more time than most women's matches on TV as of late. Solid matwork and solid nearfalls for a pre-show opener with a crowd much more invested than I would've thought. Rosa's Elvis outfit was pretty slick too, and the bits of flourish on her offense to match it added to the match as well. Deonna as a heel works better than her previous role, she just know how to carry herself better as one. I think this could've used a more definitive finish since I don't see the point in giving us more in this feud, but I did like the match. ***1/4"
