23 | 06.06.2024 | somerandommark | 8.0 | This was an incredibly fun brawl, the kind you don't really see in BOSJ or even NJPW generally! The spot of Connors spearing Despe out of nowhere was awesome, as was the violentttt table bump! I loved Despe's single-fingered defiance too. I'm not too sure about the finish, I would've prefered a clean finish. myself, but it does leave room open for a rematch, especially after the hot post-match unmasking angle! |

40 | 28.05.2024 | Kyle from TheMatchGuide | 8.0 | The best match of Connors' young career. A great little brawl structured around some big spots instead of the constant punches and wild unpredictably. The character work of Despy and Clark is great too. Clark is fantastic as a heel. His calling card this tournament has been such. Despy is great too. Everything hardcore with Despy always ties back to his match and feud with Kasai, but he gets to take the role of Kasai in this match. Clark is the one who takes things too far, and while that may have won him a deathmatch, it didn't win him anything here. 4 Stars. |

49 | 25.05.2024 | PR | 5.0 | I know there are some sort of relaxed rules in New Japan and the brawl was fine and some nice spots took place. But after hitting each other with chairs, throwing each other through tables and shoving the ref around there is a DQ after just punching your opponent in the ropes? What? Such a stupid ending to an otherwise pretty good match. |

57 | 24.05.2024 | Aquaislyfe | 9.0 | A rematch of one of my favorites from last year, Clark and Despe had fun with the hits before stepping it up into my favorite match of BOSJ 31 so far. Clark showed how far hes come as a performer and a character, potentially positioning himself via loss at the level of Desperado. Ive never seen a DQ finish work this well. This match is absolutely sick and I hope I get to see these two face each other a lot more over the next few years. |

73 | 23.05.2024 | TheLegitBoss | 8.0 | This was the best thing that happened in the BOSJ this year so far, and I'm dead serious when I say that, few matches have had such atmosphere and intensity, everything was really excellent in the intentions of Connors who made such an obsession of this match that he completely lost his mind. I saw a lot of Gabe Kidd's G1 Climax in him here. I loved the shot where Desperado gives Connors a fuck after the nearfall, this was some awesome production and the post-match beating was great too. Great piece of business. |
74 | 23.05.2024 | cataclysm | 7.0 | This match surprised me. The two men gentleman's agreement into a hardcore match at the start, despite Marty trying to stop them. They spend most of the match brawling outside and use plunder here and there. The hardcore spots in this match were really solid. Such as the chair wack to the face and the table spot. Seeing Shoma Kato desperately try and protect the audience at the start from Connors and Despy's rampage got a laugh out me. Eventually, the two trade big moves back and forth including Despy just barely surviving Clark's finisher by grabbing the rope. The frustration leads to Connors mauling Despy until Marty calls off the match. The post match for this was great. Clark takes off Despy's mask and hits him over the head with a piece of the table. He also spears Marty and beats up the young lions for an added bonus. Clark has done a great job with his character work throughout the tournament and this was the cherry on top. |

77 | 23.05.2024 | GenerationalCreator | 8.0 | It was exactly a match like this that the tournament needed! Despy and Connors RULED! Practically fifteen minutes of pure brawl outside the ring, very well done with two looking like two savages fighting around the arena, hitting each other with chairs and Clark hitting a powerbomb on the table! Dramatic, strong and wild, ending by DQ was the best option, as Connors seemed more interested in collecting Despy's body than actually beating him, proof of this is how he behaved with the referee. Clark Connors landed beautiful spears and finisher, even so the victory didn't come and this fueled Clark's anger when he saw the masked man showing him the middle finger, Despy was surrendered and even though War Dog dumped him he will go without caring about the defeat, great heel and babyface roles defined during the match. The post-match was incredible with Clark ripping off Desperado's mask and hitting him with a part of the table. This could lead to an interesting feud for the Jr. Tag Team Titles at Dominion. 78 | 23.05.2024 | lastplaneout | 7.0 | I enjoyed this one a lot. A ton of really great brawling around the ring. Probably the best Clark Connors match so far in the tournament. Kind of a silly ending, but this one was more about the journey anyway. I feel like this could be the start of a story about Connors being his own worst enemy, which would probably work. |
79 | 22.05.2024 | WAKA Flockanoku | 7.0 | This match was a lot of fun in my opinion with an interesting DQ finish that I wasn't expecting. My biggest knock against this match was a moment where Clark Connors got hit with a chair while another chair was around his neck and waiting an extremely noticeable amount of seconds to freak out about his nose hurting all while the camera was focused on him. |
80 | 22.05.2024 | Open The Vault | 6.0 | I wasn't expecting much since Clark Connors was involved but this was nice even with the stupid DQ ending, they did a good job with this. It was a good old fashioned brawl with intensity behind every single move and the back and forth action was really well done! 6.5/10 |
81 | 22.05.2024 | Oswuold | 8.0 | This match could be divisive due they way the wrestlers did it but I personally licked it. They spent a lot of time brawling into the outside and trying to hit their finishers over and over again but that actually worked since the match seemed brutal and dramatic for the most. I'm sure the ending 'll lead to a feud in near future. **** |
