[7.0] "Coffey took Ivar's spot after "injuring" him in the backstage attack that closed last week's show. In reality, Ivar is legitimately injured, so best wishes to him during the recovery process. This was a good match, but the finish was so lazy. If Lee and Coffey covered Briggs at the same time, why wouldn't the referee just restart the match? One Triple Threat to set up another Triple Threat? Didn't we just get a Triple Threat for the North American title at Stand & Deliver? Ugh."

[6.0] "Solid match with a title shot for the NA Championship at stake. Some nice spots and each wrestler brought their own style to keep the exchanges interesting. The finish with both Coffey and Lee pinning Briggs was lame, the point is to have one winner but instead it's another triple threat for the title. There could have been a more clever way to go about it than this. While the rest of the match was pretty good, the ending brings things down a little. 6/10"

[6.0] "The NA Championship #1 Contender Triple Threat match was solid, even if it was mostly a standard triple threat match. Every one of the Superstars got the chance to showcase his talents. Even though all three of them are veterans (even Bruggs has seen and done some things in his wrestling career) with extensive in-ring experience, it felt like the match lacked some sense of urgency, given it's a #1 Contender match. The finish was a surprising one. With Lee's athleticism and passion, Femi's size, and Coffey's physicality, the title match at NXT Battleground should be a banger."

"Great show for what NXT is. A good amount of matches this card actually had some meaning, including the weird triple threat finish which had major implications for the next PLE."
