[8.0] "[4.0*] I simply loved this match, one of my favorite joshi tag matches of the year. The action was just so much fun from start to finish. It began with very cool wrestling showdowns between the participants, with Bozilla having time to show herself more to the audience, that absolutely loved her. It got a little bit dragged during the middle because the match has almost 30 minutes, but the ending stretch is just thrilling and nuts. Sareee and Giulia had an awesome one on one bout where they were literally landing on their heads, taking some nasty bumps for the love of the game. Utami was great every time she was on the ring, as always. Bozilla of course was the only green wrestler of them 4, she has only 20 years and is a rookie, but it became clear that in 5-8 years she will be the real deal. Her move-set is so much fun and Giulia/Utami were selling like hell for her, even on a simple shoulder tackle. There were times where she did not know what to do, but that is completely normal. This was one of the best joshi atmospheres I have ever seen and the crowd was on fire. Overall, this match was a huge W where we got the big draws, great one-on-one showcases, a captivating performance by Bozilla and very cool action all-around."

[8.0] "Great match that was unfortunately dragged down in quality by someone who shouldn't be in a ring yet nor occupy a main event slot of any company. Everything was flawless outside of Bozilla's spots. She kept going for Fireman's Carries for whatever reason and it never panned out. I was legitimately impressed by her moonsault but that was then followed by her attempting to pin Giulia when she was illegal. She seems like she has very little understanding of wrestling in general and her moveset is very slim: shoulder tackles, forearms, fireman's carries and a moonsault. She looked like a lost puppy amongst 3 of the greatest female wrestlers of this century, that's an unfortunate position for anyone who's not on par with them to be nevermind a green, green rookie. ****1/4"

But Im especially looking forward to the 1v1 Giulia vs. Sareee match, which is sure to be one of the MOTYs! I rate this match ****.5"

The match also did a very good job to set up Giulia vs Sareee, with the better parts of it being when they were together in the ring."

To find such an impressive and young girl who gets her name chanted in a match with three big stars, you must see talent. Great solid match, good work by all four wrestlers. Utami, Sareee and Giulia are amazing as usual, Bozilla for such a young and green performer with much less experience did everything right. I'm sure she's both a future champion and promotional star, and will make noise not only in Japan, but in the West as well"

"The best fight of the show. By far. Bozilla is a bit lost when she's not the protagonist. But she gets the audience's attention. They chant her name at the end! Utami, Sareee and Giulia are fantastic... as usual. Giulia takes a lot of damage from Sareee. Utami achieves her goal: to lift Bozilla xD"

[9.0] "This is a fantastic match in front of a nuclear hot crowd that doesn't quite get a 10 due to the fact that even though Bozilla is instantly insanely over she's still very green and the running time does have some flab in it. However, it's an absolute blast seeing brilliant performers such as Giulia, Sareee and Utami mix it up and beat the utter crap out of each other; honestly, Giulia and Sareee may have found their perfect opponent in one another. Special mention should go to Utami as well who quietly keeps things on track, gets her shit in, bumps like mad and makes sure attention is on all the right things. If all main events were this good and contested under these circumstances we'd all be very lucky wrestling fans."

I couldn't believe seeing after the match that Bozilla is only 20 years old, what a prospect, she's the future, she looked awesome here, and of course, her company helps a lot, three amazing wrestlers, doing what they know best. The dynamic between the giant Bozilla against Giulia and Hayashishita trying to outwrestle her the whole time was incredible, this match had a really enjoyable structure, and a lot of stiff moves, loved how everything was done with some anticipation and looked impactful, the crowd was great too. Apart from the kickouts at 1 trade, everything here was cool, those ending moments felt like a true war - {****1/4}"

I loved the contrast between Sareee and Bozilla as partners against the more balanced and brutal team of Giulia & Utami, though while all of the offense Bozilla did looked good she also just kind of stood around waiting for her spots at times instead of looking "in the moment". ***3/4+"

The result was surprising.Sareee is a name that has never delivered a bad match; quite the opposite, shes been part of some of the best bouts of the year. Giulia, before leaving, was doing great in Japan, and Utami, as they say, the 'Talent of the Century, ' shes incredible. Bozilla was a bit underwhelming but still did well. She would stand in plain sight of her opponents and either do nothing or her opponents would do nothing at multiple points. She also seemed quite clunky more often than not. Giulia and Sareee fucking killed it every time they stepped into action. Utami kinda felt like she was just there. It certainly felt like a main event by the end, but it had way too much put into it."

[9.0] "An incredbly efficient way to close Marigold's first show, achieving an awful lot. Bozilla is the headline in that regard, being maximised to an almost comical degree and becoming an immediate player in the promotion as a result. It's never at the cost of a great main event though, with Sareee producing an astonishing performance alongside her. Utami is very much the glue, selling big for Bozilla and putting the building blocks in place for Giulia's usual spite in the second half. It's surprisingly brisk for this runtime also, leaving you wanting more yet still giving the first show a noteworthy, signature match. Not sure this could've possibly gone any better, with three stars shining bright while seemingly making a new one along the way. ****1/4"

[10.0] "I'm not up to speed on the controversy or politics, but as the main event of a new women's promotion, this nailed it. The in-ring action was purely based around what the four characters brought - Giulia, the undisputed star; Utami (who reminds me of MAO) with her heavy offence and strong bumping; Sareee as the instigator, throwing strikes and suplexes with venom; and Bozilla, who did a better job of portaying a monster heel than performers who have way more experience. She needs time to understand what to do in between the action, as she did a lot of standing around, but even that she managed to do well."

Sometimes she seems to drift around the ring, wiped out by the pace. Excited to see her dictate the pace in the future and really control things like someone as tall as her should be doing. Giulia took about a dozen suplexes right on her head, and finally was finished after one too many. Just a brutal if not exhausting finish. Good stuff!"

A lot of telegraphing her spots and weirdly just standing in position to wait for it when otherwise she could have just did something prior. It comes with the territory of being new but when it comes to high level match rating, it is fair to critique more heavily."

[6.0] "Yeah, this was fine, but not great. I think this would be nowhere as loved if this wasn't the main event of Marigold's first show. (Which, I find it crazy that a brand new Rossy-run promotion has so much blind support and such little criticism) I found there was way too much aimless wandering in this match, it feels like most of the time someone is just standing there. The in-ring action feels typical for the big three names too, the stuff with Sareee and Giulia showed flashes of greatness, but I've been more interested in pretty much every other effort Saree has had this year. Utami bumped well for Bozillia, and hit some big Germans here and there, but she didn't have an ace-like performance either. Bozilla looked good in flashes, but she's obviously a work in progress, but good on her for getting the reaction she did. Overall, above average at best. 3 Stars."

[8.0] "If I take more in consideration Bozilla's performance my final rating will decrease heavily, but goddamn, Giulia, Utami and Sareee are so, so good. I have to say this is my actual first time watching a full match of Utami, Giulia and Bozilla. I wasn't surprised by any of their performances as I expected what I got. Despite the match being centered around the rivalry between Sareee and Giulia, that didn't take away the spotlight from Bozilla and Utami, that were as important in the match as their partners. It's quite weird that the whole backstory of the match is about an individual rivalry and the match is a tag one, but hey, it ended up being a good show and it was a great teaser for that upcoming 1 on 1 match. Bozilla may be the star of the match, at least judging by the crowd response. When I saw she was going to main event the show without not knowing who the hell she was and just judging by her awful promos on Twitter I was expecting the worst. Just because Jazzy Gabert recommends her it's enough to make her the headliner of your first show with 3 of the best joshis on it? It was weird for sure, but the experiment turned to be succesful despite Bozilla showing so many flaws. She was lost in a lot of sequences, she is so green in move executions and her acting as a character is quite bad and forced, yet she didn't felt out of place in the match and fulfilled with enough solvency in those parts of the match where she had to play a key factor. Something I loved about the match specially is how Utami had to ditch the flashy and complex wrestling to go more "street" to try to take down Bozilla as there was no other way to surpass her, and how Bozilla handled without much effort the double attacks of her opponents, which I have to say they had a great chemistry together despite playing this "frienemy" dynamic. I didn't like the so many finishers Sareee used on Giulia and the kickouts after them. It's something I don't like about any match. In general, a great match and a strong main event for their first show that was able to prosper despite Bozilla's inexperience while also putting her over and giving her a great dose of recognition around the world (****)"

This is my first time seeing Bozilla and while she is obviously incredibly green, some of her stuff looked impressive and she does have a lot of presence when she's not looking around like she's lost. Felt very quick for 28 minutes but if you'd shaved ten minutes off Bozilla might have been less exposed, otherwise great sprinty action from all involved. 7"

Utami sold well, Giulia looked like a million bucks and worked her heart out with Sareee. Bozilla was....big. She's big. Everyone wrestled around how big she is. She's not good, but in a match like this, she really doesn't have to be. The match itself was very servicable. If Bozilla wasn't the focus or could have worked (or if she could have just got out of the ring for the closing sequence), this would have been the match of the night for me. It was not. That moonsault was sick btw."

Giulia & Utami were incredible, especially Utami who was the best in the match. And the crowd was red hot for Bozilla, this match with Utami in July will feeds families."

[9.0] "A solid main event to crown a great Marigold show. Easily one of the best tag team matches of the year, all going very well and being highlighted as the story between two new rivalries was developed as the minutes progressed. It wouldn't be a surprise that Utami Hayashishita, Sareee and Giulia would be responsible for setting the pace and delivering a great match, but Bozilla surprised me, it's one of the best rookie performances I've ever seen, he didn't waste a single opportunity to impress with his strength , although his non-selling was excellent in most of the match, in others his lack of selling bothered me. She reminded me of Gordy at his beginnings in AJPW, a monster of great stature, still not that good in the ring, but impressive and with a lot of potential, as well as a great aura. The story of the match is simple, but told in a masterful way, all of Utami's efforts to take Bozilla to a German Suplex or Giulia and Sareee having the best exchange of moves in the fight with the exchange of strong forearms in the center of the ring creating the atmosphere towards the end of the match, damn, everything was played to look and actually become something epic. Even though that beginning was practically a showcase of what a Joshi show is, with all the fighting on the ringside and BOZILLA being able to present her dominant moveset over Utami and Giulia, who sold it as a real big deal. The ending was excellent, maybe if it wasn't for the small mistake of Bozilla going for the pinfall without being the one of the time, it would have been perfect. The way Sareee destroys Giulia with a repetition of Saito Suplex only for Giulia to escape, Sareee focusing on Giulia's neck and in the end making her fall on her head in a BRUTAL Uranage and surprisingly WIN the match! For the love of pro wrestling, Giulia exchanged some strong elbow strikes with Sareee despite her broken wrist. They delivered one of the best tag team matches of the year and having the name of an unknown German woman being chanted at the end of the match was surprisingly incredible. [4.5*]"

[10.0] "Otherworldly tag match. Another tag match like that that features Sareee. To say she is on a generational run might even be an understatement. She is a remarkable wrestler and might just be the very best, regardless of gender. Utami and Giulia showed up to put on a memorable, excellent main event for their first Marigold show, with a rabid and packed Korakuen Hall. That helped elevate this great match, but especially with their reaction to Bozilla who did VERY good. Sure she was green and looked like she waited around a couple spots, but those are minor nitpicks for what she achieved. Giulia wrestling the majority of this match with a fractured wrist is typical Joshi toughness. ****3/4"

Sareee and Giulia had some rough spots here and there but overall it was really good whenever they touched, Utami was more of a background player in this but made her presence felt, like when she german suplexed bozilla for a huge reaction, classic monster booking; when done right it works really well. Sareee as always was exceptional and is on an all timer run. Great first main event for a new promotion setting up their first big time singles match right out of the gate, this is a homerun. Just a top notch tag team match with an obvious focus on Giulia vs. Sareee. Those two traded big hits and the obligatory dose of fighting spirit, before Bozilla turned out to be the difference maker. The monster gaijin was clunky & cartoonish for sure, but her movements came off as kayfabe inexperience rather than bad work ****"

Of course, it's no surprise that world-class talents like Giulia, Sareee, and Utami Hayashishita delivered here, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the work of Bozilla. It was surprising to me that they would put a newcomer like her into the main event with three established stars, but it turned out to be a great decision, as she looked very impressive and her powerhouse wrestling style really added something interesting against the very different styles of the other three wrestlers. Sareee, Utami, and Giulia all play there part here. I also feel like the tag team chemistry was really lacking. The most important thing here is setting up a match between Sareee and Giulia more than likely for one of the belts at Sumo Hall. The outsiders beating the home promotion in the first main event is a bold choice."

Giulia brought a ton of intensity as well, and her sequences with Sareee were fantastic. Utami had some great action with Sareee as well, although she primarily tried (and failed) to out-power Bozilla. You can tell that Bozilla isn't exactly a technical wizard or brilliant pure worker, but she understood perfectly how to use her presence, expressions, and sheer size to instantly get over with the promotion's new following. Giulia and Sareee beat the hell out of each other. Utami and Bozilla had some good exchanges, it was entertaining seeing Utami get thrown around and selling like crazy. Bozilla did lumber around not really do anything at times, but she won the crowd over and that's really what matters. There were a bunch of nearfalls and big moves. She approached it completely without any respect for her matchups with the Utami, showing that there were no authorities for her here. The Giulia-Sareee story was pretty strong as well due to the fact that Sareee had already been to NXT and failed, seemingly wasting her peak, while Giulia is just about to go there as a top prospect. But if it werent for the actions of Bozilla and Utami, who sold Bozilla perfectly, this would have been just another Sareee-style back-and-forth, which we see quite often. The unexpected victory of the non-Stardom team became the real highlight of the match."

Bozilla kannte ich auch gar nicht und wirkte dank ihrer richtig guten Leistung auch plötzlich wie ein Star. However, for a match that would lead a company's first show, one that is turbulent, if not controversial, is a little bit disappointing to have a tag match revolving around someone that would leave soon feuding with someone that's not a part of this promotion AND Bozilla. First, Bozilla. On one hand, she is not a bad gaijin by any stretch, especially compared to the other few that is on the show. She has a good showing here and gather significant support from the Korauken crowd. She is very much looking as a Megan Bayne equivalent. However, her psychology is all over the place, walking around aimlessly, watching Utami breaking up the pin without doing anything, and lacking some level of cooperation when it comes to tag moves and counters. This is not a criticism on her, she has great potential and just need more experience. This very much caused the match's pace to fall apart down the stretch. Tags were missregistered and there are some miss-communications. Personally, my main gripe gotta be breaking down a Saree hot streak of excellent suplexes and strikes with Bozilla cut offs and Utami break ups. This moves us to the second point: Giulia vs Saree feud is very much not going to be what the promotion is going to be able to run in the long term, it really puts some shadow of doubts onto the future of Marigold as a whole."

[10.0] "If you told a joshi fan that this matchup was going to be the match of the night, noone would have expressed surprise. Of course, this match has 3 of the best joshi wrestlers on the planet, known for going hard and putting on big spectacle matches. What would have elicited some incredulous remarks from said fans is saying that not only was this one of the best matches put on so far this year, but the absolute easy MVP of the night was BOZILLA, a quite unknown monster worker from Germany. BOZILLA came into this match with a lot to demonstrate and by the end of the show she was receiving BOZILLA chants from the hottest Korakuen crowd I've seen in years. Her offense wasn't just strong and spectacular it was versatile and well placed, her expression work and timing was fantastic especially for a relatively inexperienced big worker, and for the most part her spots were clean with the less clean spots like her moonsault being too cool to care that it wasn't dead on aim. Utami sold like crazy for BOZILLA, and Giulia and Sareee built their feud well. Everyone in this match went extremely hard and the match was structured beautifully. In consideration for one of the best matches of 2024 and an opening statement: Marigold is on top of the world."

She stepped up in the biggest match of her young (she has 20ish matches) career and was amazing next to three of the best in the entire world. She made Utami BUMP for her life at points, which was ridiculous and incredible to watch. Giulia & Sareee cooked whenever they interacted and brought violence to the match. It was another great Joshi Tag Team Match that will go down as one of the best of 2024. Amazing match"

[9.0] "Fabulous main event. You instantly saw the difference in having superb veterans in with a green worker like Bozilla, because they structured all Bozilla's spots to make her look like a monster and get big reactions while mostly hiding her limitations. Suffice to say when Utami, Giulia and Sareee were in the ring the action was far and away better than anything else on the show (bar Mirai's offence, but she didn't have an opponent of this calibre). Large chunks of the match were devoted to Utami using her selling and storytelling abilities to get Bozilla over and to build to the great German suplex spot. Giulia and Sareee seemed to have a few issues with their mat work together, but they absolutely whacked and suplexed the crap out of each other for most of the match so it didn't matter. This match was an absolute riot from start to finish, there were spots that would go off the rails from time to time, but it was never not hugely enjoyable and was a total success in making Bozilla a star in one night."

An extremely intense match with a surprising, yet logical, result. There were a few minor things that weren't 100% perfect, but nothing that takes away from the match being a 10/10. Everyone in the match played their role to perfection. I was initially surprised by the amount of time that Bozilla was getting in the ring, but the time she spent wrestling ended up being the most exciting parts of the match for me."

Bozilla, coming in as an unknown, stole the show and became the undisputed MVP. The "female Big Bang Vader" was an absolute force, threatening to completely steal the scene. The Giulia and Sareee feud was expertly built throughout the action, culminating in a super hot final session with some of the loudest elbow strikes of the year. The tenacity of the Giulia & Utami Hayashishita team against two monsters was awe-inspiring."
