[4.0] "[1.75*] Maybe the fact that I did not watch it live made the match even worse for me, but yeah, this was bad. This was pretty slow and the babyface Bucks would have helped with the pacing, but the fact that they were doing the heel work made it very slow. The post match was very good with the firing and the future endeavoring bit tho."

[4.0] "Worst match of the night, it had some decent moments, but overall pretty lame, almost nothing interesting, they didn't worked much psychology and Christopher Daniels looked very very slow here. The post-match angle didn't really caught my attention as well, slow and boring match right here - {**}"

[6.0] "This was a fine match for what it was. Having Daniels and Sydal is such a deep cut that I really appreciate, and it's one that I think shows Tony Khan's love and admiration of ROH. Aside from that, this was fine. Young Bucks got the expected win, as they should."

[6.0] "Enjoyable match. Daniels isn't what he was 10 years ago, but he can still wrestle well, and they did a good job structuring the match to show his veteran awarness and smarts. Match was pretty good technically with no issues. Match was overshadowed by the post-match segment."

[6.0] "This was one of the weaker matches that the Young Bucks have had in AEW. It was structured well, but Daniels just can't go that well any more, and the story they were telling required him to be in the ring for the majority of the match. I suspect that he really is done in-ring, although he probably is keeping his backstage role."

[4.0] "That didn't work. A match that seemed to be in slow motion and lasted an eternity. Despite liking some aspects of the match in relation to the Bucks and Sydal, in general, this slow style from the Bucks, along with Daniels' already slow style, gave the match a tired and exhausted look. The crowd didn't want to see that either and wasn't interested at all. [2.0*]"

[5.0] "A pretty mediocre match by Bucks standards. The action was mostly fine, but largely unspectacular and the Bucks won pretty decisively with the TK Driver. Despite this not being the best match, I thought the post match stuff was excellent, with the Bucks firing Christopher Daniels and Jack Perry pouring a drink all over Shiavone on commentary. They continue to be the best thing in AEW at the moments and this was yet another comically over the top but great bit of heel work for them. A mediocre match, which served for a great post match angle. **1/2"

[6.0] "I enjoyed this match so I'm pretty surprised by this rating. I thought both Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal showed out, with the latter continuing to prove to be one of the most complete in-ring competitors in the world and the former getting over quick and maintaining the heat. Sure, this was not The Young Bucks in their most explosive form, but it was an entertaining match with a solid story. 3 stars, 6 out of 10."

[4.0] "Despite the short length, this match went on too long for its own good. It was just kinda slow and would have been better served as a squash match for one of the Young Bucks against Daniels instead of a tag match with Matt Sydal thrown into a story he's not really involved in. I also hate this new trend of calling non title matches title eliminator matches. It just sounds like something Vince McMahon would come up and drop within a couple of months during his later years."

[5.0] "Just a putting some heat on the bucks nothing really of note here to really bite on. It was what it was suppose to be. Loved the promo the bucks did after the match tho."

[4.0] "Really didnt feel this match honestly. Its great seeing Christopher Daniels and matt sydal but daniels is a little past his prime and i think id rather see him just stay behind the scenes or even see him in a magnet role. The in ring stuff itself wasnt really much to talk about but after the match it was honestly some great heat on the bucks firing christopher daniels. Oh yeah the TK Driver is the worst finisher in wrestling it looks absolutely stupid. I cringe when i see that move."

[6.0] "Pretty standard tag match format for a heel victory, but this was elevated slightly because of the crowd supporting Daniels (a Defy regular) and because of the charmingly funny post-match angle. Matt Jackson, in particular, does a good job as a heel because he throws his whiffed punches with a comic flourish and his dismay when things go awry feels genuine. Sydal had a couple of nice moments in this match (as he always does) with combos and transitions."

[5.0] "Match went a bit too long and the only thing it really had going for it was the heel work by the Bucks. I did like hearing some genuine Fallen Angel chants, but this was mostly just an angle to hilariously fire Daniels. Also enjoyed Jack on commentary and pouring the drink on Schiovane, Jack is so much more natural and comfortable now."

[4.0] "Ive rated this match generously purely for Jack Perry at least trying to make it interesting and out of respect for the veterans involved. It went way too long and simultaneously did next to nothing. Ill be amazed if this doesnt chase the viewers lord in droves."

[1.0] "What in the world was this? Granted the match was just there for heat on the bucks which it did it's job I guess but i'd still expect a lot better from these 4 workers than whatever this was. Probably could have just been an angle rather than a match and had the same effect."

[5.0] "A middling match. Daniels and Sydal are a talented team booked as losers to the stars so it was practically impossible to believe that the Bucks would lose here. Daniels at least got a nice response from the crowd during the match."
