[6.0] "[3.0*] The match itself I thought was pretty well worked and good. The whole segment I thought was great. After two weeks of bad starts with Cope vs Buddy and OC vs Trent, finally a proper first 20 minutes to the show which set the tone until the ending. Unlike some of the comments here I liked a lot of the pre-match brawl with Bryans music, this was clearly a touch to the AITA where this is literally part of the stipulation (I was surprised some people forgot), the match had clear faces and heels (despite the sides being wrong) and the crowd was incredibly hot, which helped it a lot. The post match attack by Take was great and the Claudio save was at least suspicious."

[6.0] "Fun opener, great television, I loved the fact they had Bryan Danielson's theme during the brawl at the beginning, the angle was well built. I was expecting a little bit more of the match, considering the names involved, but can't really complain, it was pretty simple, ended after the first really huge sequence, Danielson was over as hell, considering the event was in his home state - {***}"

[7.0] "This match was good, but I still felt a little let down. I know Jeff Cobb is well past his prime, but I figured Mox and Danielson could hide that. the largely did, since this was the best I've seen of him for a while, but the intensity suffered a bit."

[8.0] "Excellent TV tag match, chaotic and violent. I am a big fan of Jeff Cobb and thought he looked great here, still got that ox like strength. Danielson and Mox are obviously an awesome team."

[8.0] "A solid TV tag match with some good interaction between guys who haven't really mixed it up before, but it's all elevated by that awesome opening with UE blitzing Mox and Danielson running out only for him to pull a Mox and have his theme loop twice over a wild brawl on the floor. That's the shit I like to see. ***3/4"

[6.0] "It was much more useful for preparing for the ppv than for anything else. A good match, nothing special, no big spot or one that completely changes the story of the match, just four good wrestlers doing a short match where everyone has the opportunity to have some momentum, especially Jeff Cobb. Once again the Don Callis Family came out on top, once again Kyle Fletcher lost a match after becoming champion and I didn't understand why the hometown guy, Bryan Danielson, wasn't the one to score the pinfall. Fun match, at all. [3.25*]"

[7.0] "A pretty fun opener. The match starts with Cobb and Fletcher attacking Mox during his entrance before Bryan runs down to make the save and brawl with them all while his music plays. Then the match officially starts and it's just some straight up good tag wrestling. The action was about as good as you'd expect given the talent involved, with Kyle Fletcher in particular standing out. There were some cool moments here too, like Cobb's awesome looking spinning back suplex on Bryan and that brutal looking Death Rider that ended the match. Overall, this was just a really good tag match with a crowd who were super into it. ***3/4"

[7.0] "It was a good opener. The match per se was a 6/10 imo, nothing out of the ordinary. The crowd elevated the general mood and created a good atmosphere to watch, so 7/10."

[7.0] "A fun opening tag match that features some solid wrestling and transitioned nicely into a Takeshita/Moxley post-match teaser. A few in-ring things I liked: (1) the Death Rider sell by Fletcher was a thing of beauty, (2) Cobb's delayed Cobb Slam on Danielson, and (3) the high pace of the finishing sequence."
Jamildo2 wrote on 16.05.2024:
[6.0] "It was fine, nothing I hated but I Ive got to say it. Moxley just looks well off the pace. His work was sloppy and the pacing of the match suffered when he was involved. The match as I said was fine, but the quality of the wrestlers involved means that it should have been better. Jeff Cobb and Kyle continue to look really good."
CenturionMAC wrote on 16.05.2024:
[7.0] "This was a Kyle Fletcher showcase, though at some point he is going to need to win a match in order to justify being put in these matches. The work was solid. Great, hot start to the match. Cobb seemed like he was taking it a bit easy at parts of this match, and Danielson didn't go as hard as he normally does, but it was still good and was a solid set up for Takeshita and Moxley."

[7.0] "Jeff Cobb filled in for the injured Hobbs with Callis playing with his New Japan connections, Takeshita is getting kept out of the matches to attack from behind, it makes sense. The match was a very fun opening to Dynamite, as always when BCC is involved. They had 8/10 matches previously, this here was slightly less, but it's also a 12 minute opener and not a 20 minute main event of Collision. I think it's hilarious some people criticize the music playing in front of the match, they've always done it as a special attraction during BCC brawls, it's in preparation of Anarchy in the Arena where Bryan takes part. This isn't part of the match, so I fail to see how it's relevant for the match guide where we recommend matches to other people to save their time, but each to their own. To me it is a classic wild Dynamite opening, the fans were into it, the music only enhanced what was following, great way to start the show."

[7.0] "This was a very fun opener right here with only performers we love to see on TV every week, which is rare for Cobb of course as he's not in AEW but he always does well when he comes to do matches there and that was the case here again. Fletcher is surely the best TV wrestler in the States this year along with Ospreay, Gunther and Ricochet, he delivers all the time whatever the context and I loved his performance here. Good showing for the BCC."
ParkwayDriver wrote on 16.05.2024:
[6.0] "Another day that ends in Y, another loss for Kyle Fletcher on AEW TV. The people that are beating him on a regular basis are at least stars but why is the ROH TV title on him if he is going to eat all of these losses and rarely ever appear on the paywalled ROH show for anything more than filler matches? Why not add a fall guy that isnt a champion to the group? Baffling avoidable booking to an otherwise solid match."

To me the pre-match brawl was illogical and the music playing the entire time certainly caught me off-guard. The match felt pretty random but I understand people want to see Danielson so they are getting him in action. The faces also went into the heel corner which was a bit odd but didnt necessarily distract from the work too much. Overall I felt it was a solid TV match and my rating would have been a bit higher if not for all the nonsense surrounding it."

[6.0] "Didnt enjoy the music playing for about 3 minutes after bryan ran in for the save but hey. Love seeing cobb on dynamite in a match involving danielson and moxley. The match itself was fine it was good. Just why? Why is this match happening. I also hope takeshita being involved in the after match beat down doesnt mean we get mox vs takeshita at DoN it NEEDS to happen at forbidden door for the IWGP Title. Just because an attack happened a week before a ppv doesnt mean we need the match at the nearest ppv there TK. Youre more then capable of allowing it to have a month build and be at Forbidden Door."
