[6.0] "This was in some ways a bit of a distinct change from the DG tag match formula we usually always get, which often feels far more 'showcase-y' without any clear story, but at the same time this ultimately still held all the usual overkill excesses that DG is known for. There was a typical scummy Z-Brats arena brawl to cut off the early babyface shine. U-T did well as the sympathetic underdog babyface in peril as all of the Z-Brats ganged up on him with their decent beatdown work for a long time, and it was quite endearing every time he fired up and did his best to defiantly fight back for his hope spots. Shun did a great job really being all around nasty with his control work, with him naturally being the most imposing heel on the team up against the much smaller U-T. U-T eventually got enough space to tag out so that Shimizu and SMJ could begin running through the rest of the Z-Brats. Shimizu was a typically very good powerhouse, while SMJ was more just decent as he's always been. Despite SMJ not being exceptional, he worked well as a team alongside U-T and Shimizu, with their distinct styles making for an enjoyable series of offence. As usual for DG, the heel team would thankfully pick up their own pace and make their own offence more interesting in response to the babyfaces' growing momentum, which led to a lot of rapid big-move trades and some exciting near falls. It was definitely mindless and certainly pretty overkill with just how many near falls there were (even by Korakuen main-event standards) but it was still pretty fun, and at least it became more and more impressive the longer U-T survived each consecutive big move, since it always felt like you could see the end coming, only for him to somehow survive either of his own efforts or his teammates'. It was definitely pretty rushed that SMJ got the win over Kai so quickly, whereas U-T had sustained like 10x more damage from multiple Z-Brats members yet that wasn't enough. And I love U-T, but aside from this recent run he's never been protected well enough to justify being as strong as he was shown to be here. There probably should've been a more extended period at the end of Natural Vibes fighting back to really show they earned that win, since it instead felt more 'lucky' than anything. Still, this was quite a fun, classic overkill DG-style match. It thankfully had a good little story that centred almost entirely around U-T, which was great to see as a big fan of his and which definitely held my interest, but I did think they abandoned that story too heavily by the end in favour of going for the usual DG match tropes. Interesting development in the post-match with SMJ being gifted the NV leader role by Kzy, which was reasonable given Kzy had just seen the 3 of the team here win the Triangle Gate titles without him, plus he'd overseen the slight breakdown of the team's cohesion under his leadership as Kamei left the team for Big Hug at the end of the Dead or Alive show, so he understandably thought he wasn't necessary as leader of the unit going forward. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Natural Vibes finally were able to put all the hard times behind them and re-unite as a strong unit once again - heels dominated for 80% of the match, but babyfaces gave the crowd enough hope to make them believe in a possible big comeback, and when it finally happened, those last three minutes or so, they were magic. U-T didn't crumble under pressure like he usually was doing for a long time and kept kicking out of big moves again and again when I thought he was done, Shimizu was at the right time and at the right place to turn the tides for his team and SMJ used his killer instinct to use the only chance he got to hit his finisher on KAI and pin him. U-T got big chant from Korakuen crowd and rightfully so, but all three babyfaces, as a unit, looked absolutely tremendous as a result of this victory. They did it all without Kzy too, who knows what that will lead into in the future."
[8.0] "A good multimen match that explodes in the final stretch which was amazing having a lot of believable false finishes. The other part of the match was solid too but other than some strikes it seemed not particularly expired. Overall, strong title match respect its length. ***3/4"
[8.0] "Dragongate's had highly recommendable trios matches so far this year and I'd say this one is one of the top ones. Matches like this prove just how much a healthy U-T adds to the roster. Special mention to ISHIN too, a genuine Most Improved contender who has found himself as a character and been delivering big this year in tags. Going sumo was the best decision he ever made."
[7.0] "Another real good DG six-man. Z-Brats heel work takes up most of the match, but the feel of controlled chaos makes it fairly interesting, as well as some smaller character stuff like the little feud between Strong Machine J and Shun. You get a great final stretch at the end, maybe U-T kicks out of a little too much, but his big performance earned Vibes the belts. 3.75 Stars."
[7.0] "Must admit I'm completely out of the loop with Dragon Gate, so I wasn't super invested in the story of Natural Vibes finally overcoming the odds. Match was pretty good with some exciting near fall drama down the stretch generated by U-T's babyface fire ***1/4"
[10.0] "Killer match and an easy ****3/4. This shit was bananas down the stretch. My favorite U-T performance of his career and I've been watching him over a decade now. Certified Banger! DGMOTY so far."
[7.0] "Really good match! So good to see Vibes pick up the win here after everything they have been through in 2024. Especially happy to see UT pick up a belt for the first time in so long. 3.75 stars, definitely worth a watch"
[10.0] "Absolutely insane stuff. U-T was incredible as the face in peril here, and both Strong Machine and Shimizu made awesome saves to turn what had been a one-sided beating by the heels into a victory. ****3/4"
[7.0] "This was such a great match with a very good storytelling. Natural Vibes were coming out without tension unlike these past months, they were more confident and fired up against their rivals Z- Brats. Shun Skywalker throwing Shimizu off the top rope on SMJ was a wonderful detail and it refers well to the fact that Natural Vibes had a lot of misscommunication these past few months and Shun Skywalker wanted to exploit this weakness but this SMJ didn't get pissed and understood that Shimizu didn't make it with purpose. U-T delivered a great underdog performance at the end, he was fired up and was resilient, he refused to give and to lose alongside Natural Vibes, not this time. Strong Machine J getting the pin on KAI was the smart choice given KAI was the one who pinned him in Yokohama - ***3/4 +"
