Barbaro Cavernario vs. Mistico

I didnt know alot of wrestlers going into the show so my attention was all over the place but this was a match I paid attention too. caveman gimmick was something, not really sure how to feel about that (leaning more positive) but the match itself was dope. did feel a lil too long but the ending was good enough to cover for that"

[8.0] "Good and compacted version of a match up that has had better performances but was still very good here. Great main event performance from both wrestlers, Cavernarios turnbuckle dive is always impressive to me."

[7.0] "Good match here between two of CMLL's best talents, but their position on the card didn't do them any favors, it's not two guys calibrated to do a long match of this style in this context together, something more condensed would have been much more digestible. Here we could see that there were often false rhythms and that they were obliged to calm things down so that the match lasted practically twenty minutes, which is a shame. But we saw some good action and it was still fun, with no surprises."

[7.0] "Match of the night and a worthy main event, though I cannot get over the caveman gimmick. It's too campy for me. Mistico, in contrast, had mystique and aura turned up to the max with special entrance."

[8.0] "Match of the night and maybe my favorite match from MLW this year so far. Cavernario was great in this match being very vicious and having the crowd in the palm of his hand with his mannerisms and intensity. Mistico made a nice comeback with the crowd behind him. It felt that they lost a bit of steam in the final minutes but crowd was happy with the ending. Even with the fact that the result was not really in doubt, both worked hard here in an appropriate main event for the show. 7.5-8"
