Hideki Suzuki vs. Ryuki Honda

[7.0] "Definitely a good match. I am afraid that the previous mediocre matches on the show might be influencing my rating but this felt like an absolute breath of fresh air. The light at the end of the tunnel. Some actual wrestling, actual selling, the moves actually mattered for the general storyline of the match."

[6.0] "This was alright, nothing tremendous but better than the bouts that preceded it. Suzuki won pretty quickly. Honda has not had the chance to show much so far this year but I am hoping he can have some longer matches in the back half. **3/4"

[6.0] "This was fun for the time it lasted. Hideki Suzuki doesn't start the tournament well, he lost against both Saitos and he has to win here, he struggled against Honda who looked really strong but Hideki found an opening and exploited it - ***"

[5.0] "Alright match, but it was too short to build into anything better and not exciting enough to be a fun sprint."

[7.0] "I actually think this was a little bit of a hidden solid match in the tournament. Hideki can be awfully bad at times and he hasn't done anything of note in this years carnival but he wasn't horrible here. I think Honda is really showing out this year as he's really great."

[4.0] "Crowd was into some of the little things, like Honda counting with the referee. But Suzuki has been awful to start this tournament, and it continued here. 2 Stars."
