216.03.2025brooksavage20047.0It went short, but it was still a solid sprint between both men and it was a great return for Santana in TNA.

931.08.2024OneOfTheBeatles8.0That was a good match. Santana had the crowd behind him. Wrestling was good apart from a couple of miscommunications (and apparently a Flying Headbutt that connected, always not a fan of that move).

2401.05.2024WAKA Flockanoku6.0Cool surprise and a decent match. Not much else to add other than it sucks that Steve Maclin took another loss here. However, there's worse people to lose to than a debuting Santana.

2624.04.2024Prince Osborne6.0Now this was a cool surprise! Santana is in a great state of mind and has a credible status to fit anywhere, and other than TNA, there wouldn't be any place for him to thrive. He is tied with the promotion before, and now, his solo run would receive a lot of shine and benefits in this place than elsewhere. Maclin was the best option to go out and deliver a blazing sprinter, fitting the fierce nature of both stars. 3 out of 5 stars!

2824.04.2024Bren05.0[3.0*] Interesting match, it was short but it was cool for Santana to show his talent, his return to TNA is undoubtedly the best for his career, the expectation is that he will receive a push. The action in the ring was cool and Santana did a good job.
2923.04.2024Maui6.0It seems like Steve Maclin's current role in TNA is to make sure, to make newcomers or returning stars (like in this case) look good and getting them over. And he just did that. To me Maclin is always entertaining in the ring, kind transforms to a Chris Benoiut-like attitude in the ring with his fast pace and his tough physicality in the ring. The match was solid enough, but everybody knew as soon as TNA made Santana this big thing (which in reality he isn't), who was gonna win this match made on the spot. So there was no real excitment involving the outcome of this match. I hope TNA has bigger plans for Maclin, than just being a stepping stone. But that's what TNA usually does, right? Wrong decisions and poor booking.

3122.04.2024Roodolph7.0I loved the return of Mike Santana. A great win against a big name like Steve Maclin. Great angle first to introduce Mike Santana, done well, very happy with that.

3822.04.2024GoldLiger7.0I like Santana. I don't get why some people dog on him as a talent, despite the very weak way PnP dissolved. Him and Maclin for an impromptu match that didn't get much time had a solid go at it, some good sequences and the crowd was invested in them. I'm interested in what a singles run in TNA can do for Santana and despite the basic ring work I think this showed that they have the faith in him if he's getting a clean win over a guy that was recently World Champ. ***+

5221.04.2024Neverlove6196.0Yes, this match can be discussed at least because of the return. I've been waiting for Santana here for a long time after leaving AEW, and I'm very happy about this event. This guy is still relatively young, and can open up very coolly, because he is really talented. I believe in him, and I hope that everything will work out for him. The match was scheduled suddenly, because at the beginning Maclin entered the ring with a piece of paper, which turned out to be a contract with TNA, because as we know, it expires in May. He said that he will not renew this contract if he is not given a match today. In general, this is an interesting point that gave me hope that Maclin will extend his contract. Typically TNA on TV doesn't disclose contract details, and they don't use it if someone is really about to leave the company. They usually do it much more creatively and kill the person and then resurrect him (hi Eric Young). I hope that here it was a call for an extension, because I dont see it in other companies, but here its very cool. The match is short, because it turned out to be just good. McLean turned out to be a successful opponent for Mike, so he showed all the strengths of his opponent and showed him in the right light. In this regard, Steve is one of the best in the company, because I will remind you that Nemeths best fight after leaving WWE was with Maclin about a month ago. It was just a pleasant fight, but they didnt jump over their heads, although it wasnt necessary, because there were plenty of emotions from the very fact of returning.

5521.04.2024RoseySplash976.0A solid reintroduction for Mike Santana as a singles act. It felt a weird way to cut Maclin's re-signing down but I'm sure these two will have more matches.
5621.04.2024DTT6.0Went a little short but was still a pretty strong reintroduction to Santana in TNA, never really seen much of him as a singles guy but this match definitely has me feeling some optimism for what he could do in TNA, I feel here he definitely has the best opportunity to strike out solo as opposed to any other major American wrestling promotion
5721.04.2024jjcharg777.0was a lil confused when he left AEW but this match made me realize that he wants to be put in a position to succeed as a singles wrestler and he wasnt gonna sit around. good shit from him here as he had what was essentially a showcase match that coulda went on longer with no complaints from me. props to Maclin to making it it look like they been fighting for years haha
5821.04.2024MooGati6.0Eight minutes wasn't enough time for them t show anything special, but Santana's strength is emoting, particularly in promos, so I hope to see him fight a lot of adversity on his way to the top, and beating Maclin in his first match back shows that he's being put in a position to succeed.
5921.04.2024TheLegitBoss6.0Perfectly suited to give Mike Santana a big showcase for his big comeback match against a marquee name like Maclin. Again, I wouldn't have said no to a few extra minutes because their chemistry was surprisingly good, but I think for a comeback match, eight minutes is fine. No doubt a rivalry will be launched and we'll have some very good matches between them, with time and maybe stipulations.
