| 5 | 18.07.2025 | Gravelord | 4.0 | Painfully average. Their first encounter at Stand & Deliver suffered because it lacked the intensity and hatred a big grudge match should have and, well, so did this. It was the most by the book steel cage match I have ever seen. All they did was toss each other into the cage, and even that looked unimpressive as for whatever reason neither guy seemed to be willing to take any gnarly bumps. As such, a match type that should lend itself to the brutality that a grudge match requires was completely lacking in it. The cage itself turned out to be pointless as Melo's goons managed to brute force their way into the cage anyway in an attempt to even the odds as Trick was on the verge of victory. It didn't matter, of course, as Trick simply hulked up and won the match singlehandedly off of a single Trick Shot. Man, talk about a disappointing end to what should have been a great feud. Again, the wrestling itself was technically fine, but there was just no intensity or feeling of hatred between them. It all felt perfunctory, even the inexplicable "THIS IS AWESOME" chant from the fans. A big 'ol meh. **1/4 |

However, their matches are not. Both matches underdelivered a lot and it is not a shame to admit that, because the feud as a whole was incredible. Dragunov vs Evans in 5 minutes was a LOT better. The match was good, pretty solid, but as a Steel Cage? A blow-off from a grudge feud? This felt like a kids match, man. They did not use the Cage at all, there was 0 brutality, it was a fun sprint between two friends who respect each other. No heat, no grudge disappointing. |

| 32 | 02.05.2024 | ayeembored | | 3.75/5.0 Not as good as the Stand and Deliver match, but still good. I don't like that the cage match was on a regular NXT and not the PLE. Established Trick as being superior to Carmello, period, overcoming numbers, foreign objects, and a kayfabe incompetent referee. |

| 34 | 01.05.2024 | Prince Osborne | 7.0 | If this was the other way around (cage war at S&D, then a 'Loser leaves the NXT brand' match here), the surreal hype around this rivalry would've justified better. Nonetheless, the stipulation helped Trick to show his best moves, not overexpose his amateurism. Carmelo was an amazing heel, seeking help from his bodyguards and constantly bickering with the crowd. It was a short, sweet main event that bookended this rivalry and Carmelo's NXT run on a strong note. 3.25 out of 5 stars! |
| 35 | 01.05.2024 | boymeetsworld | 3.0 | Somehow this match was even more empty than their Wrestlemania Weekend match, there was a whole bunch of filler before the finish that got a way too little of a crowd reaction for a steel cage match. Williams had a staredown with Dragunov after the match and I can't say the anticipation for their rematch has increased thanks to this main event. Cameras showed a pretty bored crowd with 'NXT' chants in the background shortly before the finish, which perfectly encapsulated everything about the blow-off of Williams/Hayes feud imo. |

| 52 | 21.04.2024 | yamom | 5.0 | Significantly worse than their Stand and Deliver match. Really short and shotty work throughout, never hit any gear and Trick further proves how green he is. Sadly Melo couldn't carry or do much here, especially in what seems to be the blow off. Puts trick over strong tho and I'm sure Ilia gets another super match out of Trick like last time, I'm just concerned they'll pull the trigger too early. |

| 54 | 20.04.2024 | Cal1641 | 5.0 | These 2 just don't have super great chemistry, it's a fine tv match, but a bit disappointing as a blow off (for now). A few iffy moments here too which let it down a bit, tbh though Trick Williams has enough charisma to make pretty much any match work at least somewhat. |

The best thing about the match was Trick Williams' final knee, the rest of the match was pretty boring and lately Carmelo and Trick's performances have been poor. |

| 60 | 20.04.2024 | Gerdo | 7.0 | I wished they did this at S&D without any commercial break and ten minutes longer, it would have been amazing. Great way to elevate Williams, who defeated Melo's security too. And nice farewell to NXT by Melo. I like the final knee through the chair. Trick has to improve some aspects of his technique but that's what NXT is for. I hope to see these two collide once again later in the main roster, I feel like they can give us a memorable contest. |
| 61 | 19.04.2024 | Screaming Enigma | 7.0 | A really solid match to close the show. I'm glad that Williams got the win here again and I do think he's beating Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title next week. Hopefully he can continue to deliver some good matches as champion, as well as good rivalries. |

| 73 | 18.04.2024 | Some Guy | 5.0 | As good as the Trick-Melo story was, their matches haven't lived up to the hype. The Stand & Deliver match was underwhelming, to put it mildly, so they get a second chance at it here in a cage. This was not much of an improvement. There wasn't good use of the cage other than them tossing each other into the sides. Melo got some heat after hitting Trick with a club for a couple of minutes. Trick fought back and had the momentum on his side before Melo's nameless, faceless goons tried to interfere. Trick beat them all up with ease and hit the running knee on Melo for the win. I wasn't feeling this at all, there was nothing to care about because the story had already been told and nothing they did elevated the match. 5/10 |

| 84 | 18.04.2024 | EternalEpure | 5.0 | There was just no real heat to this. This fails in part due to just how WWE does cage matches. The only danger or violence in this match was them hitting eachother into the cage with their hands up and then using a like nightstick or something like once and that's it. This match didn't feel like a big blow off match, it just felt like a regular match that happened to have a cage around it. Ending felt anti climatic and too easy. This match just didn't do much for me. It wasn't bad or anything it's just completely middle of the road and a disappointment for a match that should've been much better. |
