18 | 26.07.2024 | Johan | 8.0 | The Best wrestling match Jinder was ever a part of, really, the match at smackdown was a better overall match because of the hype and the moment of AJ winning feeling like the WWE audience getting out of a terrible headlock, but this match has more wrassling in it and is a better wrestled match overall, with the right winner. 41 | 22.02.2023 | GulakBusick | 9.0 | The best Jinder Mahal match I've seen by a country mile. AJ was typically great here but Jinder held up his end of the bargain as well. Just a very smartly worked match which stands out as the peak of Jinder's in-ring career. |

50 | 25.05.2022 | GonzoAppreciator | 7.0 | This match is a testament to just how good AJ is. Mahal's time as a main eventer was at best incredibly dull except when he was in the ring with AJ. Mahal did sell AJ's offense pretty well though. |
51 | 05.05.2022 | flightaker321 | 7.0 | I'm shocked at how good this turned out to be. AJ would target Jinder's leg in the early going but Jinder would cut him off quickly and would instead focus on AJ's back/ribs. Jinder would lock in tons of submission moves that apply pressure to the back/ribs and AJ sold it for him tremendously making Jinder look like a monster heel. Jinder cuts off AJ's initial comeback and was able to kit the Khallas but Style kicked out. Jinder got cocky and went to attempt the Styles Clash but Aj countered it into a calf crush, the leg work earlier came back into the play.***1/2 |

59 | 28.04.2021 | TheLegitBoss | 8.0 | This was actually a very smart match between Styles and Mahal here, one that positively surprised me to an unimaginable degree. Not that I doubted they could make a good match, because Styles can really make a good match with anyone, but I didn't think they would use this formula in the main event of a PPV like this. This formula was pretty simple, it was Styles attacking Mahal's leg, and Mahal attacking Styles' abdomen, all done in a very smart way from start to finish. And I can't even say that Styles carried Mahal (although he obviously sold like a god for him and gave him the best match of his career), because the Maharaja was also very good at his job. His heel-work was vicious and while he didn't invest the crowd (much like his entire run in the main event in 2017), I liked what he offered. Of course Styles sublimated everything but a good match is made with two people and they both worked hard in this main event. No overbooking, good & smart action, some cool nearfalls, I just wish the crowd would have been invested but other than that, this match was truly excellent. |

68 | 08.05.2020 | Runaway | 9.0 | Coming to this match nobody wanted to see Jinder go into Road to 'Mania as a champ. Plants were seeded, we were all behind Styles to get the win and take a step closer to much wanted match against Shinsuke, however nobody expected this match to be better than the last one i mentioned earlier. Jinder made clear that he was much stronger between the two, therefore AJ had to stick with classic leg work strategy to wear him down. AJ didn't do much of a damage because Jinder cut it off quickly. He went after his ribs, my god that's where the match elevated to next level. His work was so brutal & focused, the didn't let AJ breath for a second. His performance brought the vibes of classic heel's performance in 80's who was not technically gifted but destructive & subtle in everything he did. AJ made sure to sell all of this with fantastic selling & facial expressions. The intriguing part of the match became AJ's inevitable comeback but there was not any of them because Jinder cut it off every time going after AJ's ribs and putting him into several holds - terrific character work there from Jinder. Build up to finishing stretch was awesome, AJ finally got the momentum, hit 450 splash but his ribs gave up and couldn't go for pin - fantastic selling by the champ. Jinder used this one into his favor and did signature ~ finishing moves once again targeting the ribs but it wasn't enough. Remember the leg work AJ did in the beginning? He surely did and caught Jinder in Calf Killer out of nowhere which gave him the win. Terrific match with amazing storytelling & psychology, one of the most underrated matches ever too. ****1/2 |
