It isn't the best thing I think you'll see from any of these guys but the crowd spends the entirety of the match screaming "esto es lucha! " and it's easy see why. Classic stuff from the best practitioners of the style. |

You could make a list of all the llaves and contrallaves (submissions and counter-submissions) that these four masters of the mat brought up to the table here. Navarro, Terry and Virus were already recognized as some of the best representations of classic lucha libre style at the time, and Hechicero was already a stablished talent with more than enough credibility to be facing any of these men in the ring. I'm not the most familiar lucha fan in the world, but I have heard all of these guys are pretty damn good so I had to check this out. This the 4th Black Terry match I've watched in two hours and yeah he's absolutely the man. Negro Navarro & Hechicero are both awesome, I thought was kinda slow at points but he's also pretty fun. I love Lucha Submissions, they're so creative and painful looking, you rarely see moves like these in the states or Japan (unless it's Dragongate). There's a point where the tag partners will come in and just do a submission on a guy doing a submission, it's so fun. I was looking forward to the Hechicero/Black Terry portions and they did not disappoint, they had such a heated interaction even though their time together was pretty short. ****1/2 |
