[7.0] "This is a really beefy match. Everyone (well, except for Yoshitatsu) is just a slab of meat and there was a point early on when Ishikawa and Higuchi tagged in and they were body checking each other for a solid 30 seconds and I genuinely believed "Is DDT going to do a comedy match where four huge dudes just run into each other for 10 minutes? " and there was no small part of me that was hoping this would be the case. Eventually the match spills to the outside and Ishikawa brutalizes Higuchi with a irish whip into a row of chairs, followed by a diving stomp to the poor guy from a gate, and it's moments like that that I genuinely believe Ishikawa might be one of the cruelest big dudes in the business. (complimentary). Yoshitatsu's segments in this are so disjointed to the point that his inclusion feels like a booking mistake among the group, or that he is filling in for some other mysterious large man that couldn't make it. He works the leg on Higuchi (who has not taken leg damage before and it will not factor in to match later) and then largely sits out the rest of the match for Ishikawa to lead. And this is perhaps for the best, because Ishikawa matches beautifully with Naya/Higuchi, getting intense and believable segments out of both. Ishikawa ends Higuchi with a somewhat sudden razor's edge powerbomb, and Naya gets in Ishikawa's face hinting at a potential solo match sometime down the line. I'd be here for it, but sadly, it's a few months later and we still have'nt had a solo match between these two anywhere."

[6.0] "This match was good enough, it was at a very good level considering it was in the undercard. The first minutes obviously weren't really emotional but the final stretch was a good one considering also the amount of false finishes which was not low. ***1/4"

[4.0] "Was excited about Ishikawa vs Higuchi, but it didn't live up. One or two cool moments, but mostly weak offence from both, and an unnecessary early barrage of headbutts from Ishikawa. Liked Naya's performance more than usual."

[7.0] "This one was all about Higuchi and Ishikawa, they were throwing bombs and beating the shit out of each other like there's no tomorrow, to the point that Yoshitatsu and Naya were kind of invisible. After all that, there has to be a big singles match between them because Ishikawa pinned Higuchi."
