[4.0] "[2.0*] Pretty basic and bland match. There was nothing wrong with it in terms of technical abilities, not even a single botch on the whole match, but it was very conservative and average."
[6.0] "Something stepped up to Kazarian backstage last week after saying he previously looked up to him and didn't approve of his recent heel turn. Something has been gradually building momentum over the past few months, so I thought it was weird that he lost here. I'm not saying Kazarian should have lost, but almost anyone could have been in Something's spot. That was strange. This was a good match, though."
[5.0] "This was slow at points, but I thought it was a fine match for television. While the wrestling didn't look smooth, I felt like the guys made it work."
[7.0] "Solid match overall. Really competitive. Something's power versus Kazarian's guile and speed made for some solid exchanges between these two. Screw job finishes always depress a match but still an overall solid match."
[4.0] "House show level as usual from Kazarian. Even when he works hard its just not engaging or entertaining. Add a clunky finish and you get a forgettable match."
[5.0] "TNA, what are you doing? What is the point of this match. If you want to lead Kaz to World Champion material you cannot put him in the opener. Further they put him against Jake Something, who in my opinion should also be build up to main event stage. The match itself was ok, the finishing sequence kinda clunky and not very visible for the audience that Kaz cheated to win. I don't get it, why TNA 's still tripping over their own leg."
[4.0] "If apathy was a wrestling match. Tapings with multiple shows to get through will always have competent but dull matches like this with little crowd engagement. I find Something better in theory than he is in reality."
[5.0] "This is a classic 10-minute match on Impact editions, where there is nothing bad to say, but nothing to praise either. Both worked well and cleanly, but without frills."
[5.0] "A bit of a disappointing match to me as I really like both talents. This was largely a fine but basic match to give Kazarian a cheap win coming off of his heel turn."
