Kota was full-of-spirit t/out but perhaps that was also his Achilles heel as after a front head kick and vicious knee on the monster, the big-headed Ibuhi thought he could lift Fale for a powerbomb.. uh uh! The younger, and perhaps smarter Ibushi, would have gone atop for the Phoenix splash. This version of the guy took Fale's finishers including a high-dropping Bad Luck Fall and was easily pinned. Ibushi's leg work did fade away towards the end (Ibushi's limb selling is by no means one of his strong points) however the rest of the match was really good. A Budokan-lite moonsault by Ibushi really got the crowd going and Fale did really well here. Good finish with Fale requiring to hit both finishers to make sure Kota would stay down. This really really impressed me. (***3/4) |

Passable Story, wie sich beide kleinkriegen und dies auf ihre typische Art und Weise mit der passenden Offensive versuchen. Dies führt immer wieder zu kleineren netten Sequenzen. Nur das große Ganze will nicht immer so klicken. Die Spannungskurve könnte besser sein und Ibushis letztes Aufbäumen ist nicht so dynamisch, wie man es sonst kennt. (**3/4) |

Aber eben diese besagten Come-Backs waren noch besser, die Crowd war drin und Crazy Kota ist zurück, atemberaubender Moonsault + toller Showcase seiner Athletik mit den Germans. Vor allem für die Zeit ein gutes Match und eines der besten von BLF (***½). |

I really liked all of Fale's work on the leg, even if it didn't really lead to anything. Ibushi did what he usually does - he stopped selling it once it was time to get his shit in, but I can forgive that because the leg work was forgotten by Fale as well. It wasn't a huge part of the match. The rest of the match is just kickass David vs. Goliath action with Ibushi bumping his ass off for Fale. Great, great stuff. **** |
