202.10.2024FelipeTalksGraps6.0[3.0*] I thought this match was good. It had a couple of awesome flashes just as the Shingo vs Taichi part, but it had A LOT of filler and just maybe 20% of great action. For an 1-hour match, the majority of it was kind of boring.

719.03.2024Mizzle Assault Ant5.0This was a nice concept on paper but I feel like they missed out on a lot of potential here. None of the pairings were bad but none were very fresh and it all kind of felt like a foregone conclusion. Watching a bunch of time limit draws wasn't super exciting, though the action wasn't exactly bad.

2408.02.2024TheOverride5.0The idea was interesting but was not taken advantage of. It could have been interesting if it weren't for the fact that instead of seeing new pairings in the entries, we saw the same fights that we are going to see in the PPV. As a result, it was super obvious that Naito vs. Sanada, Taichi vs. Takagi and Douki vs. Hiromu was going to finish for the time limit and TAKA and Bushi were going to take the pin. Yota vs. Uemura as the last ones are the only thing worth seeing in this fight. It also seems illogical to me that each fight had a time limit of 10 minutes but everyone acted as if that time limit did not exist, which made it more obvious who were going to run out of time. Yota and Uemura put on an entertaining fight, but the stipulation itself was a missed opportunity. It's an interesting concept and I hope United Empire and Bullet Club get more out of it if they come to this.
2508.02.2024Zander8.0This was a pretty fun match. This was multiple mini matches put in one, although I do think it could have been a little better considering they were going at it for an hour.
2607.02.2024MarkCarnochan976.0Considering this match went for an hour, I do think it could have been a lot better. A surprising amount of filler considering the constant change in wrestlers and the 10 minute time limits for each new match. So with that in mind, a lot of great match ups (i.e. Sanada/Naito, Takagi/Taichi) ended up just being ok cos they never had the right time. However, given we have recently had a NJ show main evented by Narita and Umino, as well as Fujita and Gabe Kidd stealing the show in their own right, to use this match to essentially give Yuya and Tsuji a main event, it was smart booking and a great showcase. Again, I think due to the layout of this match, there wasn't much heating going in for them and though they got lots of time they probably could have done with more. However, great work for both men and their match in Sapporo will be sure to be a great showcase for them both.

3407.02.2024cal90998.0A few good mini matches so I think it deserves an 8 but it was very long. Tsuji vs Uemura, DOUKI vs Takahashi and Taichi vs Takagi were all very good. SANADA vs Naito continue their extremely disappointing feud as they had a pretty average match and for sure the least interesting of the matches that got a decent amount of time. ****
3506.02.2024No One9.0I love some long-winded competitive wrestling matches. This match was a salute to the Old School mid-1980's long-winded gauntlet matches that NJPW had against UWF. Several one-on-one rivalries were highlighted during the course of this gauntlet match, all the way down to the very end which is the right thing to do. LIJ vs. Just 5 Guys is currently my 2nd favorite rivalry/feud behind the dope United Empire/War Dogs feud. Also, I don't want to see either Yota Tsuji or Yuya Uemura walk around bald, LOL.
3605.02.20242bitterforyou7.0This match could have gone two ways: A series of free watered-down samples of the matches we'll see at Sapporo, or new combinations between unlikely opponents that wouldn't face each other otherwise. Clearly, it went the lamer one. Only Taka's and Bushi's jobs, this would have been basically a series of 10-minute ties between the rivals of Sapporo. Having said that, I really enjoyed Douki vs. Hiromu and added a lot of spice to their next match, and obviously Tsuji vs. Uemura and the new stipulation for their match. Other than that, nothing special happened here, but those two matchups made this deserving of a good rate.
3705.02.2024Oswuold9.0Well I wasn't looking for a freaking 70 minutes match but it delivered. It was slow at times (especially in the last minutes between Tsuji and Uemura) but it was entertaining throughout and man those 10 minutes between Taichi and Takagi were GOATED. At the end of the day absolutely reccomended. ****1/2
3805.02.2024Codebreaker7.0Cooles und für NJPW frisches Konzept, aber man merkt bei einigen Paarung das sich doch deutlich zurückgehalten wird. ***1/2
