Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer

[7.0] "A lot was going on in this match and it was super chaotic in a great way. That is not to say it did not have its moments of classic wrestling, they did. RVD is always fun to watch and honestly I feel Dreamer did step up his in ring game here too. There were some cool spots that also made it a good match for me"

[8.0] "I wasn't wild about their matches in 1997 but this was a cut above those, not an all timer but better than I expected. RVD does all the heavy lifting obviously but Dreamer has his moments."

[7.0] "This was a fun match. Nobody is going to say that Tommy Dreamer was a great in ring wrestler, his strength was his connection to the fans. Dreamer did bring it here in this match, and RVD was always bringing it. The interference did get a little over the top, especially at the end, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't also entertaining. The New York crowd was going nuts, and thanks to that and the work put in by these two, we got a pretty good match here. ***1/2"
