They had the usual thumbtacks and glass tubes, but when they busted out the syringe, I didn't know where to look. My favourite death matches are the scaffold ones, because you get some crazy high spots in those matches. This one didn't feel spectacular to me, though there were some pretty crazy moments (again, the syringe). As a person who isn't often in love with death matches, this was pretty good."

There's a massive amount of tacks in this one; it really felt like they were wading through them at points. Not my favorite from either guy (their Ryogoku match is a little more unique) but still a good, fun deathmatch."

They brutalised each other with chairs and light tubes, still would have liked if they also used Hoshino's signature cinderblocks. Worth a watch if you like the genre."

[7.0] "One of the best DMs of the 2010's. After Kankuro pinned Ito in surprising but decisive fashion during a multi-man that took place during a B-show, he goes all out in this massacre, selling his off and creating a sense of drama and risk. Ito is surprised by his guts and its status as a champ looks shakier than ever for him, with Hoshino creating chances with every spot. Great use of the foreign objects. ***1/2"
