[7.0] "A very fun and solid match that let the feud escalate and grow without feeling like it was doing too much. Palmer is a natural and can only get better with more experience. Ace has been in my radar since I first caught him in Impact and I've only grown to like him that much more."

[7.0] "This was presented as a "grudge" match and it felt like it. Austin wanted some revenge and Palmer was still hot over feeling like Austin stole the match at the last event. Intense like a fight without all the excess (doors, tables, crap) you see too often now."

[6.0] "Billed as a grudge match, it lives up to its label before the bell even rings when Palmer, without his usual fantastical ring gear and instead donning regular khakis, attacks Ace Austin right at the end of the entrance ramp and the two begin to brawl around the ring. The tension only ramps up as Palmer works on Austin's legs to stop his high-flying offense, holding onto submissions for as long as possible and even catching Austin's springboard kick into a dragon leg screw, but Austin matches the brutality with moves like a suplex to the outside of the ring. The ring can't seem to hold the two as they constantly spill out, including Austin diving right into the guardrail and a brawl that nearly involves Ace's valet Gia Miller. Austin's selling is also as insane as usual, the way he seems to land on his head after Palmer spears him just looks sickening and only adds to the hostility between the two. Austin eventually catches Palmer with a bridging pin and almost immediately Palmer keeps attacking him, making the match feel like another chapter rather than a blow-off. It makes you wonder where it'll go, but it's hard to think of how they can top such fury."
