[6.0] "Nice first match to start the show. Hayes and Trick were the stars here, as expected, and maybe they'll win the tournament in the end. (***1/4)."
[7.0] "A fun opener for the show that made Enofé & Blade look good while giving Hayes & Williams a strong win. I'm pretty sure Hayes & Williams are going to the Finals at Vengeance Day, but I'm still excited to see them face Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde in two weeks and I think the story going on between the two of them right now is still interesting."
[7.0] "Great match. The wrestling style of these four guys was very similar, and they put on an amazing match. Trick will be one of the biggest stars in WWE in the near future, an awesome wrestler."
[6.0] "Pretty good match to kick off the Dusty Classic. Carmelo and Trick have had their issues lately, but that didn't stop them from working together just fine here. Enofe and Blade don't have much personality but they're solid in the ring. Everybody had their moments to shine and this got plenty of time to play out. Some of the offense looked a bit sloppy, nothing too bad but still noticeable enough, that's really the only thing holding this match back. There wasn't any doubt that Carmelo and Trick would win to advance as their story continues. 6.5/10"
[8.0] "A good tag match that made Blade & Enofe look strong in defeat and up there for the best traditional tag match as a team. I do wish they got more chances to show what they are capable of like this compared to some other teams. While Trick and Carmelo havent gotten a lot of matches to team together, they showed good chemistry together. Having them in the Dusty tournament is a nice way to stretch out a match between Trick and Carmelo (probably at Stand and Deliver.) 7.5-8"
[6.0] "I'm so sad for Malik and Idris. The guys are talented, but they dont get anything, not just push, they even get minimal screen time, although they could very well look no worse than Gallus or Family. As for the fight, I didnt like it. One got the feeling that they hadnt worked it out at all, so everyones mutual understanding was at a minimum level. There was a lot of dirt, a lot of bad timing and a lot of moments where the wrestlers were just getting under each others feet and getting in the way. In the end, everything got better, there was a bright segment, especially a technique I had never seen before from Malik on Hayes, but still this was not enough to cover all the jambs. Again, Trick was not on the best side, he was botching too much and too openly, either he would not adapt to the opponents arm, or he would lose timing and move far from the ring during the opponents plancha. It was better expected, actually."
