[4.0] "Of all match stipulations, I think I may hate ambulance matches the most. This match was slow, not overly interesting, and only had one cool spot throughout the entire match. To cap it all off, this was an era in which they made Braun look like a monster, but couldn't have Roman take a clean loss so it had to be some lame "only Roman can beat Roman" crap. Then he reemerged and still (literally) wrecked Braun after the match. Kurt Angle gets an A+ for unintentionally comedic acting though."

[8.0] "The match was decent overall but the finish was cool with Roman flying into the ambulance. But I only remember this match because of the finish. It seemed serious with the way everyone was acting. The fire department showing up was also a nice touch. I will also rate the Curt Hawkins and Heath Slader match in this. They played a part I this whole story and they did act like they were not prepared to have a match. They were not the focus of their match but good on them for still having a PPV match. Shout out to the one guy in the front row still enjoying the match while they were showing the backstage feed on the titantron"

[6.0] "An OK match for such a strange stipulation. Seeing Strowman ragdolling Reigns is fun for a while, but the big brawl lose its steam and become very, very slow once we get to the stage with the false finishes weighing down the rythm of the match. The post-match angle is quite fun though. 6/10."

[8.0] "Fuck yeah ~ The perfect match for Reigns, who really knows how to sell in big guy matches, proof the Lesnar match at Wrestlemania. It was chaos, with Braun's crazy no selling when Reigns was throwing chairs at him, teasing dangerous spots, really dangerous spots. I guess that's my guilty pleasure in WWE. The finish was insane. I fucking love this feud. After the match Reigns went full heel and tried to kill Braun. Entertaining as fuck. The only thing that could have made this segment better overall was if Braun came out of the ambulance, covered in blood, and said "I'm not finished with you". While Jamie Nobles was trying to get Braun out of the ambulance there was an impromptu match between Curt Hawkins and Heath Slater. Nobody cared."

[7.0] "This was a cool match between Reigns and Strowman, I'm not a big fan of the Ambulance match stipulation but I don't mind it when it's well booked, and here it was clearly the case. The match is famous for its post-match angle in which Strowman looked badass as hell but the match itself is really fun too. Just two big dudes beating the crap out of each other with good intensity, good rhythm and an invested crowd because at that time Braun was easily one of the most popular guys in this company. There were a few awkward moments, including Braun attempting a pinfall after a Powerslam when it's not allowed in this type of match. But overall, everything was well done and executed, there were a lot of good things like the different spots on the ramp and the finish was funny. Nothing amazing but exactly what it should be, good brawl."

The stipulation meant that both men could brawl and use weapons, thus camouflaging their in-ring weaknesses. Booker T was absolutely awful on commentary, just horrendously bad, to the point that I'd label his performance an embarrassment."

[6.0] "Sure, they hit each other very hard. It' not as if the rhythm of this encounter was any more special than their other battles, but they're huge hulking slabs of meat being put through a bull's war. Vince, 'If Roman' going to lose, then he's going out the hunter and not the huntee. ' As a stone is never lovable, might as well make him the baddest warrior within Vince' play-universe. Their pairing is less novel/fresh than before, but at least the gimmick gave credence to this show's name w/ holy sh*t moments. *** 1/4 6. 5 rounded-down."

[8.0] "The match itself wasn't spectacular but it was a solid brawl that demonstrated Strowman's strength. This match, unlike most of Roman's matches, told a story. This match told a story of a man vs a monster and Strowman looked like a monster. The real buzz around this match happened after the match officially ended when Reigns backed the ambulance with Strowman in it into a tractor trailer. Strowman's bloody selling made the moment 10x better I can't stress enough how much Strowman has improved. Overall this match was solid with a very hardcore and exciting post match moment."

[10.0] "This match was really entertaining and we'll booked. Both men gave all they had in a very intense and physical match. Furthermore, I find the selling from Braun - during the chair shots, the screen shot and the ambulance crash- really awesome. Roman shows his physical strength with a huge Samoan drop and a striking spear after the match. One of my favourite match in term of entertainment of this last months, maybe the best !"

[10.0] "When these two just get to brawl, they put on a fucking SHOW. BRAUN dominating is always a treat to watch, but Roman sells the pain so well. A lot of little great moments in this, from going through the tron to Roman hitting the side of the ambulance to BRAUN just absorbing chairshots and screaming HIT ME AGAIN BITCH. Roman going for the injured arm was smart, but that lasted about 1 minute and lead to nothing. Finish seemed a bit weird in how Roman ran head on towards the doors, but I get what it was meant to do. The post-match, though, that was some A+ pro wrestling bullshit right there, with Roman CRASHING the ambulance and BRAUN just getting out and walking away of his own power, bloodied. Not the masterclass bodywork/selling combo of Payback, but it made up for it with some awesome highlights. ****1/4 to ****1/2, with a 10/10 rating for the post-match."

Great work from WWE and both wrestlers, Strowman is finally a revelant wrestler and Reigns is the top player of Raw. This is really enjoyable, maybe the best Ambulance match so far. The ending is out of nowhere but it works, and the post-match is great. ***3/4"

[6.0] "Not a fan of this feud or Strowman, so this match was pretty boring to me. They didn't do much except brawl at a very slow pace. Really disliked how Roman started going for Strowman's injured arm, which is smart storytelling, but then the big oaf just decides to no sell it which is stupid. There is a very cheesy spot where Roman "throws" Strowman through the stage screen, which looked lame because you could obviously see Strowman throw himself through it. Really stupid ending too with Roman literally jumping inside and losing. You would think they would do a better finish for the match since this was supposed to be the rubber match, but obviously it isn't since they had that hokey after match segment with Roman literally trying to kill Strowman, who also no sold that segment as well. Strowman is overrated as is this match and as is this feud. Roman is actually good, so he should be wrestling talent on his level, ***1/2."

[8.0] "It was more of a spectacle than a match. Both guys were able to create these larger than life characters that the crowd will care about no matter if they love them or they don't. It was sure as hell not boring, great spots, a great way to finish a match and great aftermatch events. Reigns and Strowman really created something special in their feud."
