[8.0] "This match was a lot of fun to watch, and showed the best of each participant. From Miu's strenght to Shoko's speed to Rika's technical prowess, everyone shined in this match. (****1/4)."

[10.0] "This match was really awesome, it was a perfect way to set up Miu as a contender. There were some really fun 5 woman spots as the match started off quite light, and I especially loved the creative 5-way submission spot. As things ramped up, though, the tension of the match heightened greatly. Shoko was the MVP of the early match: her exchange with Miu was a cool preview of the awesome match we'd see later this year at Yes Wonderland, while her exchange with Mizuki was full of drama with the over the top rope and rollup teases. Mizuki's elimination came absolutely out of nowhere, with Rika flying full speed at her, that was a particular highlight. I loved the Miu / Rika work, building off their tag team/rivals relationship that has been well established over the years. Then there was Kamiyu... the unexpected highlight of the match for me. She played her role beautifully, vulturing a pinfall over Rika, and being presented as a hurdle for Miu to overcome after their Princess Cup match last year. Even knowing the result going in, I was sucked into the near falls at the end, with Kamiyu seeming a genuine main event level player and threat to Miu. But Miu hit a beautiful Inverted Giant Swing, and finally overcame a roadblock in Kamiyu! Truly this was an outstanding match!"

[8.0] "I'm not a Battle Royal dude but this was one perfectly executed. I liked they they go out and in the ring without any problem (that looks like a senseless tabù nowadays) and the eliminations were all done well. Not much cons, perhaps I would have liked some big spots more. ****1/4"

[6.0] "This started with all five wrestlers working spots at the same time, which aside from some impressive looking running of the ropes was the weakest part of the match as everything looked too contrived. Nakajima looked good and, once the match boiled down to the final two, it was pretty exciting but it was a bit of a slog in between and never earnt it's length ***"

[8.0] "For a 'Battle Royal' with 5 people in it given the context how rest of the card looked, it had to have enough action to give fans their money's worth, so there was a illogical amount of straight 1v1 action when other wrestlers were on the outside doing nothing - Mizuki vs. Nakajima lasted for what it felt like ~5 minutes before Mizuki eliminated Nakajima, and so did Tatsumi vs. Watanabe before Kamifuku slid in out of nowhere and flash pinned Tatsumi. Kamifuku vs. Watanabe was an interesting last two, but tremendous looking Giant Swing made it clear that this match was made for Watanabe to give her an impressive win. Yamashita vs. Watanabe from last year's Princess Cup semi-final is one of the best TJPW matches ever, that match that firmly planted an idea that Watanabe belongs at the top of the card, so anticipation for a big title match between these two is genuinely very high."

[7.0] "A hell of a good battle royale with excellent storytelling. It did feel like Yuki Kamifuku was going to pull it off using her superior smarts/cowardice but it's pleasing to see Miu Watanabe get the win."

[9.0] "Just as hoped, this was fantastic. In-ring wise, it's the best Inspiration match ever. TJPW never misses with its battle royals, often doing them at Korakuen because they are worthy of that stage. Having it on an Inspiration show, in a small and intimate venue like Shinjuku Face really elevated the show. The eliminations didn't start until over 13 minutes in, but the match was enthralling throughout. Shoko and Mizuki had a great stretch, as did Daydream later in the match, and more. The eliminations were all great, with Shoko and Mizuki taking notable bumps in theirs, and Kamiyu stealing one from Miu by eliminating Rika. The final two were a fun surprise, even though everyone knew how it would end. Still, the match was tons of fun, full of action, had its fair share of humor mixed in and was really enjoyable overall. Even if the comedy-filled aspects of Inspiration shows aren't your cup of tea, this match is one that every TJPW fan should go out of their way to see."
