13 | 17.02.2025 | FelipeTalksGraps | 7.0 | [3.5*] A great and very encouraging main event. I was afraid this was going to be bad because literally all the build-up matches were bad, boring and soulless, but I am very happy it delivered the way I was hoping for. A proper WrestleKingdom Main Event with a beautiful story, ending up with Naito finally doing his roll call at the Dome. Some minor mistakes and a Destino botch made me take 0.25* from it, but I was still very satisfied and happy when it ended. |

16 | 29.01.2025 | ReiEscobar | 8.0 | Pretty solid match. Some things about the way SANADA excecute his matches don't work pretty well for me. In my mind, he is a good example for a wrestler that in ring don't look like what he really is (I hope this makes sence not only for me). But anyway, it's clearly in this match how old and "tired" both wrestlers are, specially Naito, but this wasn't something so harmful for the way the match happenned except for some botch moments like one of the Destinos and some high paced skills they tried. In the end, Naito being attacked by his ex pupil and being saved by his other ex pupil that he just beated some minutes ago for the World Title of the NJPW was definatelly something great to see. Naito can be washed and not even can still standing in the ring, but he'll never loose the abilitie of being a amazing storyteller, never. A WK main even worse than the last years without a doubt when it comes to in ring execution, but it's not bad. I like it very much |

25 | 22.12.2024 | Screaming Enigma | 8.0 | A super solid match to close things out. This possibly could have reached the 9/10 mark for me had it not been for a couple of slip-ups, but I still really enjoyed this (ex. SANADA clearly not making contact with one of his Moonsaults and Naito executing one Destino fairly poorly). Although, the best parts of this, arguably, came after the final bell rang. Naito wants his long-awaited Wrestle Kingdom moment...but, he's attacked by House of Torture. However, his former stablemate, SANADA, makes the save. Awesome stuff there. |

38 | 22.09.2024 | BananaOil | 7.0 | This was quite a bit better than I expected. SANADA isn't the most captivating champion and Naito's glory days are LONG behind him, but they did good here. I will say that it would've been an 8 without the Naito botches but that just is what it is at this point. If he goes longer than 15 minutes he's just gonna botch the Destino every time. Still the story and atmosphere did a lot heavy lifting and the ending was nice. |

41 | 05.09.2024 | danzitorock | 8.0 | Very good main event, I was so happy that this one delivered... I was quite worried about this match, they didn't showed a lot of chemistry at the road events, but this one thankfully worked. The beginning/middle parts had some good moments and exchanges, overall a great build, and the end had a lot of excellent and tense moments, specially because the crowd was engaged and we all wanted Naito to win. I think this completely reached its ceiling, it just couldn't get better or more satisfying than that. The ending with House of Torture attacking Naito and SANADA making the save was beautiful, he even cried on his way out of the ring, huge symbolism for everyone involved, this one was a success - {****} |

53 | 06.07.2024 | WAKA Flockanoku | 8.0 | This match had the tough task of following up Okada vs. Danielson, and, while it didn't surpass that match, it still ended up being a very good and very emotional main event that saw Naito finally get to do role call in the main event of the Tokyo Dome. This really did feel like a special moment deserving of the main event even though I didn't think the match itself lived up to the semi-main. |

59 | 02.06.2024 | Okaro143 | 7.0 | Gonna say they tried, but there were too many little errors to give it above 7 points. Both men made clear mistakes, the chemistry between them was insipid, there were obvious miscommunications, the story wasn't really a big hype for me. Naito did however get a lot of love from the crowd and the crowd was clearly interested in seeing him leave the Tokyo Dome as their new World Heavyweight Champion. ***3/4 |
60 | 30.05.2024 | Mad Ricky | 6.0 | The fight took a long time to get going, but due to the timing of 25 minutes, you have to endure it for about 10 minutes. But the problem turned out to be different. It's just poorly built. The second half of the match is just mindless spam of finishers. Several times during the match, Naito carried out two Destinos in a row, after which Sanada rose as if nothing had happened and immediately performed several moonsaults or successfully counterattacked. This has become the norm in big matches in NJPW lately. But I'm not ready to put up with this. Because of this, immersion in the match is lost. Its as if youre looking at some kind of acrobats, and not a battle between two people with a long history. |

62 | 14.05.2024 | PR | 6.0 | Great moment for Naito even though his career is waning down. SANADA is pretty boring and his matches just drag on and on and on... This one was not to bad, a bit better than I expected. But they could have cut easily 5 to 10 minutes and trimmed the match down a bit for it to be more enjoyable. |
63 | 13.05.2024 | Judestar | 8.0 | This about met expectations, Naito/SANADA was never an amazing rivalry but this was more about seeing Naito win and finally have his true WK moment than it was some blood feud. SANADA performed well and whilst I think his title reign wasn't good enough to warrant a tokyo dome main event, the match was very good regardless. |

My first match with either of these wrestlers, and it's easy to see how Naito got his legend status. And while I can definitely say SANADA will eventually get to such levels too. Really fun match, and a really good way to end a good show. |

99 | 25.02.2024 | jayro2006 | 7.0 | This match ended up being much better than I expected it to be. It just didnt have a Wrestle Kingdom main event feel to it. Albeit, it was still good. It had a very hot finish like many NJPW main events. Good performance from both. |
100 | 25.02.2024 | Visual Kei | 10.0 | What should I say...here was the 2nd and 3rd time I got emotional during this event..(1st was Taichis entrance in the Rumble.) Naitos entrance was magic and to be in the crowd with all the Naito chants was so fucking great. I am the biggest Naito fan probably and shivered and was afraid that SANADA would retain. The multiple finisher counters at the end had me almost dying. But when Naito hitted his Destino..and Unno counted to 3, my magical and best wrestling moment ever happened. I cried tears of joy in my left sleeve of my NJPW jacket. Yeah, this are memories that you keep in your mind. ***** |
