The ending felt a little flat with Asuka pinning both opponents at once kind of out of nowhere, but the action was nonstop and it had good heat. ***1/2"

Still, it is always good to watch all 3 of these competitors work and I am really happy with how Riot is performing."

[7.0] "A fun 3-Way that built from Ruby & Nikki's feud and Asuka's unbeaten streak. Lots of neat moments, although I don't think Ruby shined as much as I expected. Still, this was a very nice cooldown match with some nice spots and a decent finish that makes Asuka look even stronger than before. ***1/4 to ***1/2"

[5.0] "Very disappointing, worst NXT TakeOver Women's Championship match in history, which isn't a very low bar considering how good they usually are, but it's mega disappointing for NXT TakeOver standards. **1/2"

I really enjoyed the story that they told, with Nikki and Riot itching to take each other out but forced to be wary of the super heavy hitter in Asuka. They also put together some great action and sequences. I'm not sure what people were expecting to see here but I enjoyed it a lot. I think they could do even better in the future in various single combinations."

[4.0] "This was super disappointing. I always look forward to Asuka's NXT Women's Championship matches in these Takeover shows + Nikki Cross has been really impressive ever since getting the SAnitY gig & I've heard good things about TAFKA Heidi Lovelace. That is why this match was disappointing - it had your usual annoying triple threat tropes, no heat & Ruby Riot completely dragged the match down w/ her sloppy, bad looking offense & awkward moves in general. The Asuka/Cross interactions were really awesome though - pretty much the only stuff that I enjoyed in this match. **"
