[5.0] "This match kind of sucked for me. I think both of these teams can be pretty good. Catch 22 are a good wrestling team and Moloney and Connors have shown that they can be a wrecking ball in Japanese arenas, but this mostly felt a bit contained and generic with little real urgency when it came to closing the coffin lid. Connors at one point even yelled out "Try to close it! " to Moloney, who at the time was content to let the refs do all the work. There are usually going to be restrictions in place when it comes to hardcore wrestling in NJPW, barring a few cases. This is a match which felt restricted and showy more so than a grudge match."
[9.0] "This was an excellent coffin match and definitely makes the upcoming match at Wrestle Kingdom much more interesting. I hope that these two teams are able to top this coffin match in the Tokyo Dome and have an even more memorable match. (****1/4)"
[8.0] "Connors and Moloney are the prove that the hells don't have to be coward looking but that they can just be strong sons of a bitch that are hateable due what they do and not due the way they do it. They had no mercy here, yes they used the belts as weapons but this was a Coffin Match so it was all legal gentlemen. As the comments below say, the hang spot was cool af. ****1/4"
