Jordan Devlin vs. Tyler Bate

[7.0] "Up until this point, it was probably the best match of the tournament, but would be dethroned later. These two had good chemistry and I would have liked to see them do more, but the nature of the tournament was a little restrictive but regardless a very enjoyable match with some intense action and good drama."

[6.0] "Bate was so over with the crowd and the pop when he moves to the finish is incredible to see. Decent match, wasn't a massive fan of the way they sold the kick to the back of the head and Devlin wanting the ref to check Bate rather than just keep on top of things"

[7.0] "A very solid match from probably my two personal favorites from this batch of wrestlers. Bate truly is the big strong boy and is a star after this tournament and Devlin shows that he has what it takes to be a big time player as well. Solid 3 stars."

[5.0] "A decent quarter final matchup that saw top babyface and eventual tournament winner Tyler Bate defeat and consequently eliminate Jordan Devlin who had heat with the crowd as a heel due to his disrespectful attitude in his matches and the controversial finish to his first round match against Danny Burch and his attack on his opponent after that match. Match had some fun spots that would foreshadow some of the spots seen in their eventual match in NXT in 2019."
