[6.0] "Hirooki Goto -vs- Minoru Suzuki (NEVER Openweight Title) [** 3/4] I appreciated it, but I wasnt loving it. Felt a little half-hearted considering its Suzuki messing about. For it was entirely Suzukis match bullying Goto. Whenever the champ was let loose his comebacks were good, but then Suzuki would not give a crap to get back in control. The ref bumping stuff was the laziest of all, but thats Suzuki for you. Too cool to care, but a world-class prick."

[7.0] "A very good back-and-forth fight with some Suzuki-Gun interference. Goto's had a hard time exciting me beyond a basic level since Wrestle Kingdom, but he's still a really solid wrestler, while Suzuki is still a fantastic veteran that combines striking, technicality, and raw heel tactics here. Interference didn't get in the way of the match quality here. Good outing and crowning of MiSu as the NEVER Champ. ***1/2"

[8.0] "Sure, the Suzuki-gun interference overbooking in the end was pretty annoying, but I didn't think it took much, if anything away from this super enjoyable match Hirooki Goto & Minoru Suzuki put on. They had the usual NEVER Openweight style smackfest, and as I mentioned, I thought it was super enjoyable. Real good match. ***1/2"
