1502.05.2025Swan8.0actually, I pretty love this match. It was short but filled with suplex and spears, looks like a 2K game in legendary difficulty. With a high speed toward to brock's long title reign, and compared with other match in the main card for same night, it's actually is the best one.
1627.04.2025KKeanel6.0It was the best possible way to book these two guys together. Pleasurable four and a half minutes of constant action.

2317.04.2025trexyyy5.0Boring, that's it, just boring. A few spears from Goldberg, a jackhammer and tons of german suplexes from Lesnar, that's it. Sure, for under 5 minutes it was okay, but agonisingly boring. Just yet another Lesnar squash match, nothing much to say about it.
2416.04.2025Geo937.0In 2004, at WrestleMania 20, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg had one of the lamest matches of all time. 14 minutes of hardly anything, and the crowd weren't into it at all. 13 years later, at WrestleMania 33, they went at it one last time and finally pulled off this enjoyable match. It's not perfect, but it's about as good as a 5 minute match can be. High impact move after move, and zero time wasted. Lesnar kicks out of the Jackhammer in a fairly mind-blowing moment, and then leapfrogs over Goldberg's spear in the spot of the match. Then he gets the win, redeeming his previous losses. It's short. It's sweet. It gets the job done.

2712.04.2025Kugenesan18.0This was exactly what needed after hours of nothing. The crowd came back alive once again after The Hardyz. That leap frog from Brock is insane. He is superhuman. Fun match. Right result.

3529.03.2025ReiEscobar8.0In respect for Janel Grant and for all women that watches pro wrestling because they love it and have fun, even knowing how toxic this fanbase is, I'm gonna promise here that this will be the last time that I will be rating a Brock Lesnar match, and this is gonna only change if he prooves his innocent, which I doubt. Anyway, talking about the match, anyone that wants to see this needs to watch the video promo that Paul Heyman did at first, cause it mades the match 100% better. He was a fucking genius comparing the dominance of Goldberg into Brock Lesnar as a fairytale story, and this end up happening in the match as well. Like he said "The beggining is always the same, but the end...". Good match if you watch in the good way and of course, not expecting a real pro wrestling match.

3721.03.2025notanothersmark8.0This match is shockingly very good, Brock and Goldberg are both awesome ferocious workers, but after WM 20 you almost thought that these too wouldn't have any chemistry together. I honestly like that this is short, it knows what it needs to be, and you get to the real good stuff quick. Best match of the whole card imo

3920.03.2025NervAce4.0Regular boring match but not as atrocious as could have been. Also I don think this two could offer anything of more relevance or interest, so with that cards on the table, better to hurry up and rush the action. The thing is the company just blew up the, till this date, only world championship of Kevin Owens in order to justify a third singles match, so I am nowhere near impartial about this.

4116.03.2025Notorious277.0I don't think these 2 could've had a better match than this. It was short, action packed, and they made the most out of what they had. Knowing Goldberg's limitations this was the best match that they could possibly get out of him. 3.75*
4216.03.2025Rassle Fan6.0It was a fun match and appropriately short. It was nothing but signature and finishers for 4 minutes but these two aren't capable of much more than that at this point in their careers. It's easy to watch with the proper outcome.

4414.03.2025user3026.0This match was exactly what it needed to be. Everyone comes in with 3 finishers saved up, and they immediately launch into spears, jackhammers, german suplexes, and F5s. This match definitely did not need the Universal Title and this marked the beginning of Brock's reign of terror that wouldn't end until SummerSlam 2018. He held that poor title hostage for like 18 months and barely showed up to defend it.

4608.03.2025doobwrld6.0This was actually nice. Obviously, significantly better than the horseshit that happened 13 years before hand. The two knew that if they followed their respective formulas (which for Brock in his second run, was essentially the same as Goldberg in the 90's), they would have the success they had at Survivor Series. They did and a lot more. Unironically, one of the best matches of the whole 33 card. ***1/2

4903.03.2025Piruel5.0Not a fan of Goldberg, best moment of the match definitely is the first spear out of nowhere after being thrown around by brock. Paul Herman was great in this match, he stole the show with his screaming and warnings to brock, lol. This match is specially tainted by having the title involved stealing the moment from the true deserving main event. I dont have much else to say about this, a nothing match creates a nothing review to be honest. At least it felt that brock tried a bit and sold nicely for bill.

5222.02.2025CoRdel7.0Many things went wrong about Lesnar and Goldberg presence during that period, for obvious reasons. However, this match is a rare example of something that actually went pretty good. A nice short match with the two same type of guys : part timers and squash matches enjoyers. It was enjoyable because they didn't buried or ruined anyone here. This was cool and everyone lost their minds.

5415.02.2025PhillyHarden7.0Oldberg's last actually good match. He had good promos and segments after this and I'm genuinely excited for whatever his retirement program ends up being (I like Bill a lot), but this is a high quality sprint. I think the finish falls a little flat, yes it makes Brock look dominant but just have him hit the F5 after the badass spear leap. Why does he have to suplex Goldberg for like 90 seconds and then hit one to win?

6127.01.2025JohnAbbaRiley10.0A masterful class of a sprint, Goldberg and Brock delivered. The realness of each men fighting for position and putting the other down combined with the crowd response makes this one of the greatest sprints of all time. Brock and Goldberg proved that you don't need to use more than a few moves to tell a story perfectly. *****
6227.01.2025Little Stinger7.0
6324.01.2025JTI10.0Matches like this are why I am vehemently against Cagematch's "Over 5 minutes" rule and I'm glad this match in particular was grandfathered in. This match fucking slaps, and is easily the best singles match you'll ever watch Bill Goldberg have. While Lesnar can have enjoyable, prolonged matches, they're always against guys like Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles. Y'know, some of the best wrestlers on Earth. i.e. not Bill Goldberg. Goldberg is only good in extremely short bursts, which is what WWF fucked up during his first run. They really expected him to have an enjoyable--no, even a watchable match spending 19 minutes in the ring with Triple H and Kane? C'mon man. This match, however, is the epitome of Get My Shit In, but in a good way. You know how many wrestling moves were done in this match? Four: Spear, Jackhammer, German, F5. And goddammit, that's all they fuckin' needed. It's a cliche to say but this was pure smash-mouth, in-your-face wrestling that wasted no time and didn't let up. There's something about the physicality of it, the fact that you can tell that neither guy is holding back and they're legit just smashing the fuck out of each other, that really puts it over the top. This match could not possibly be more opposite to their match at Wrestlemania XX, which was so mindlessly dull and boring that even Stone Cold Steve Austin couldn't save it. Every couple years I come back and watch their Survivor Series '16 match and then this one just because they're so much fucking fun and it only takes like ten minutes. This match rules and I loved every second of it. Absolute perfection and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

6922.12.2024lukasmgc10.0I mean...what can you not say? This is like the greatest match under 5 minutes ever. This is the Okada vs Omega of matches under 5 minutes. It's a roller coaster ride of pure adrenline. It is impossible to hate this match. Does it suck they sacrificed KO vs Jericho for the Universal Championship for this? Yes. Was it worth it? Debatable but if your talking match quality, yes. This was worth it. Great match.

7203.12.2024Wrestlingfan080810.0Within the context of a Goldberg match at this point of his career, it was close to perfect. Goldberg and brock both just trading bombs with another where eventually brock finally beats him. Good stuff. Goldberg got exposed when he had to work longer matches in his prime. But when you kept his matches short and concise like this, you get the good shit

8120.10.2024SpectorLKM10.0This match is way too fun man. It is a car crash and I love it so much. This is the perfect example of this sort of match and these two monsters just kill each other. Goldberg and Lesnar don't do anything complex but they are just two action figures ramming into eachother and I am over here having the time of my life.

8412.09.2024FelipeTalksGraps6.0[3.0*] I actually liked this match more than the rating may suggest. It was so awesome, watching it live was an incredible experience. This was simply a finisher war and there was not very much to add. Not a lot of technical aspects but this felt like a big deal. Great 4-min bout.
8512.09.2024maven lover5.0A match that served to highlight the duly limited nature of both participants. A few cool spots here & there, but the ending was so sudden & abrupt that I can't rate this above 5 in good faith. Nothing is offensive per-se, but this is just total finisher spam silliness, & there weren't even any fun weapon sequences or anything to generally make this stand out. There are better meat mountain matches.
8606.09.2024RealGrapsThomsen7.0This is what their match 13 years previous should have been, two powerhouses clashing in a five minute sprint. The crowd was very excited and the match did not over stay its welcome.

9423.07.2024uselessdollthing2.0This match will be enjoyable to those that like the type of matches that Goldberg is usually known for. It was what it needed to be, which was a short finisher fest. I did enjoy this at first. I really liked Brock being caught of guard by Goldberg no selling his offence and spearing him. And the spear after into the barricade was pretty cool. After that the match starts to go downhill though I do like Goldberg spearing into the turnbuckle and Brock doing that pretty cool jump up to avoid it. I've never been a huge fan of the sequences of suplexes Lesnar does so I think it was a pretty lame way to end the match.
9515.07.2024brooksavage20049.0A fast paced a real great match between both men and definitely the perfect redemption match from their WrestleMania 20 disaster.

9902.07.2024nerd76710.0To quote Big E, this was two big meaty men bumping meat. The match didn't overstay it's welcome (on a card full of matches that did) and was exactly what you would want from a Goldberg v Lesnar match. Two big monsters crashing into each other and causing mayhem
