[6.0] "Yoshi Hashi comes in with the full on anime hair, just a whole ass main character all its own. I can't say there is much that has irritated me faster than Cole screaming his own name, although he was very over with the crowd. He tries some solid heel shtick to get Yoshi Hashi over with the crowd, but they remain largely in camp Cole throughout. A decent match, if not really memorable."
[10.0] "Koroaken Hall saying Adam Cole BayBay incessantly. Yoshi-Hashi saying "YOSHI-HASHI BAYBAY". Amazing underdog story being told. What more do you need."
[9.0] "Adam Cole's best match in NJPW, he had finally reached the amount of overness most expected him to have in NJPW and that made for a great crowd. They were just white-hot for this. YH's work from under was really good as despite not having the crowd behind him garnered emotion. The final staredown before Cole hit the last shot was tense **** 1/2"
[6.0] "Adam Cole -vs- YOSHI-HASHI – (ROH Title) [** 3/4] - Better than Cole’s Tokyo Dome match where he won the ROH Title, but YOSHI-HASHI was working way too light on him to sense this being a grueling title bout. Still a fine showcase for the rather disappointing turn-out at the Korakuen Hall."
[6.0] "Yoshi-Hashi/Cole liefern sich ein ordentliches Match, auch wenn man das CHAOS-Mitglied etwas zu krampfhaft als Gefahr für Coles Titel darstellen will. Wirklich brauchbare Action, aber nicht der ganz große Wurf, so wie es dargestellt wird. Dafür ist die Spannungskurve zu flach und die Intensität hätte auch mehr sein dürfen. Es reiht sich nur Nearfall an Nearfall, dennoch ein gutes Match - nur halt ohne wirkliche Upset-Gefahr. (***)"
[7.0] "This was a pretty good match. Cole played a dick heel as usual, but it wasn't until the last few minutes that the crowd actually supported YOSHI-HASHI. The crowd was mostly ROH fans so they loved Cole and did his gimmick with him. Cole still kept bullying everybody around him rather than pander, and that helped the shift occur. It's not the most exciting match in the world, but YOSHI's fire and the way Cole teased the submission when he was trapped was actually very good. I still can't get much into Cole, even here in one of his better performances, but this was a nice outing. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Gutes Match, das aufgrund des offensichtlichen Siegers etwas leidet. Die Upset Andeutungen gelingen zwar, aber es kommt nie wirklich Zweifel am Sieger auf. Das verhindert natrülich trotzdem nicht, dass man seinen Spaß mit dem Match haben kann. Die Action im Ring stimmt und mündet in einem gelungenen Finish. ***1/2"
[8.0] "A really good match! Adam Cole's work on top wasn't actually boring, which is VERY rare & YOSHI-HASHI was a damn great underdog trying to pull off the upset. The nearfalls were all super well done, the build into them was great. All in all, a really damn good match which told a great story. ***3/4"
