[5.0] "Starts out very fine, they all look rather similar. Eaton however is pretty good. Johnny ace is also fun to watch. Fine but not really anything."

[4.0] "Midnight Express is one of the best teams of all time, but they are up against the Dynamic Dudes in a match that the crowd is just really not cooperating with, they also do not care a bit about the Dudes and only enjoy MX, as well they should. Like, Douglas is not bad, he has his moments here that reminded me of why he was once seen as a high potential guy, but the team is just not interesting and Ace is really just a dud."

[5.0] "The d00dz were supposed to be the babyfaces here, but the audience wasn't having it. The fans popped for every blow that the Midnight Express landed and booed the same from the other team, finally exploding in cheers when Cornette whacked Douglas with his tennis racket for the win. More interesting for the crowd reactions than the match itself, though the action was fine."

[6.0] "One of the many matches where the crowd was having none of The Dudes, but because of that, the atmosphere was great, and they got a huge pop when Cornette eventually hit Douglas with a racket. Once again, Ace's work was a bit clunky, but Douglas covered for it nicely."

[6.0] "A neat time capsule into Midnight Express' brilliance, as they turn heel with a brilliantly executed spot from Cornette who spends the entire match consternating them for their increasing heel antics. Their classic cutoffs are executed very well here, Eaton is in terrific form, and Douglas puts in a smooth performance. Ace stays out of the way enough for it to get home as a solid affair. ***1/4"

[6.0] "This gets the show on track, bringing some energy and mostly good work, overcoming a miscue or two along the way. The finish is memorable also, giving this some punch and waking New York up. ***"

[7.0] "Turns out the crowd wasn't all that shit after all, they just needed a half decent match to wake them up. This wasn't exceptional or anything, far from the Midnights best effort certainly, but it did the job anyway. Good action and then the finish was absolutely awesome, with everyone of course cheering like mad for a supposed heel turn because it's New York and the Dudes suck."

[6.0] "Another tag match on the show, at least this was given time to wrestle and an actual finish. The crowd was good and Cornette on ringside was extra as usual."

[6.0] "I'm sure not watching the weekly shows doesn't help, but I felt confused but the angle with Cornette managing both teams and thought that whole bit was sort of odd. The match itself was solid, though. The Midnight Express were smooth as usual and Shane Douglas put forth a nice performance as a young high flyer. Nothing incredibly memorable, but this was good for what it was (even with the strange angle)."

[6.0] "This was a completely fine, albeit basic, old school tag match. The Dynamic Dudes tried to keep pace with the Midnight Express, but there's a reason why one team are legends while they have their greatest success in a bingo hall."

[5.0] "A competently wrestled, classic tag match. Lots of arm drags, drop kicks, and wristlocks. Honestly a little long, with only one or two high spots. I thought they could have done more with the angle of Cornette managing both teams. Of course, we know who's corner he's really in when it comes to nut cutting time. Loses a point for the length with nothing much of substance added with their extra time."

[6.0] "This match is pretty fun. I like the angle of Cornette managing both teams. Stan and Bobby have turned heel throughout the angle and this is when Cornette turns on the Dynamite Dudes to re-affirm his relationship with the Midnight Express. Fun match, and a breath of fresh air after the last two."

[7.0] "JIm Cornette is apparently managing both teams and the crowd is still hating on the Dynamic Dudes. This was a good fast-paced matchup between two similar teams. There was a lot of good stuff in this match, with Shane doing a dive over the top rope onto Bobby Eaton early in the match that looked great. JIm Cornette turning on the Dudes was fantastic."

[5.0] "Absolutely a better tag match than either of the first two. Normally Id be opposed to Cornette interfering, but it worked here."

[6.0] "A fun tag match that finally gave me something good watch on this show. The stuff with Cornette was funny and I loved seeing the crowd go crazy for his antics."

[6.0] "This was a fun tag and finally something good on the show. We all knew the Cornette turn was coming but it was still a lot of fun when it did happen ***"

[7.0] "I thought this was very good. The whole deal with Cornette kept the crowd guessing for a bit, and made the match much more interesting than it was originally. The turn at the end was awesome, and got one heck of a reaction from the New Yorkers. [***1/4]"

[6.0] "I liked this match. Good in-ring action with an even better story carrying it. The finish made sense and it got a great reaction, as Cornette should always be with the Midnights and the Midnights alone. I liked it. [***1/4]"

[6.0] "Fine little match here. Don't think anyone expected Cornette to end up with the Dudes over the ME but the end was a bit of fun which got the loudest pop of the match. The match itself had some decent work but by far the best of the ME's career. ***"

[4.0] "It wasn't the best of the Midnight Express, mainly because Ace and Douglas had a habit of not being in the right place a lot of the time."
