Io maked cool comeback with her moonslault and foot stomp. Good defense.

| 20.01.2019 | Zeoni | 9.0 | Great match. This is Shayna's best match in my opinion. Good selling from Shirai, excellent submissions from Shayna. They showed a great women's match. I liked it. ****1/2 |
| 26.11.2018 | aguakun | 5.0 | There's a confusing moment where Shayna finally captures Io in her sleeper - the very hold that put Io to sleep prior to this match - and the ref makes her break it rather than calling for the bell. He ended up costing her the title! It threw the narrative, that being Io avoiding this deadly sleeper, out completely... the hell were they thinking? That said, Bazler knocking Io silly was enjoyable. *** |

| 09.09.2018 | seriousbusiness | 8.0 | Very fun match that was quite different from the usual Io match. This was all about Shayna grounding Io for a majority of the match with submissions and working her arm. Io eventually made her comeback bringing the fight back to Shayna and worked her back in response. A little anticlimactic with the finish, but still a great showing for Shayna who didn't have much experience at this point, ****1/4. |

| 06.01.2018 | Dragon Fighter | 9.0 | This was really great in my opinion. The selling was very good. IO sold the right arm which shayna targeted most of the match well. Shayna sold the exhaustion and the back quite well, too. Shayna's work here was really good with her MMA background. IO was great as usual, doing her stuff, which looked great. Shayna threw some nice gutwrench suplexes and did some submission well. For someone only being in wrestling since 2015, it was great effort. Really well done here. |

| 12.07.2017 | MatteoMerdok | 9.0 | I gave this match **** 1/4 stars out of five. I probably would have gone higher on the match if it wasn't for this weird moment where Shayna seemed to have Io chocked out and Io couldn't get to the ropes so the ref instructed her to break the hold in order to try to pin her. Seemed really odd, but... it is, what it is... |
| 28.06.2017 | LordGabriel | 7.0 | (*** 1/2) Intersting women's match , those two have great potential , especially Io Shirai , I'm curious what she'll do in WWE when she debuts after that injury. Maybe a storyline with Asuka would be great for start. |

| 09.05.2017 | andlech | 10.0 | Fantastic match between this two ladies. Great selling from both girls and a good variety of moves with an exceptional Io Shirai proving one more time why she is the best female wrestler in the world. ****1/2* |
| 24.04.2017 | jboyaquar | | Io Shirai is a top-flight talent. To her fans this isn't news, but how is it that 'The Queen' is only drawing 730 people? Is her reputation permanently sullied from her scandalous past? I just don't understand how the best working female in the business headlining a show against a former MMA star and top rookie only draws 730. ? . This is not written in disrespect but rather incredularity. Almost everything Io does looks so true, clean and effortless. The ease of bouncing up the NW ropes to hit a dropkick, the total physical surrender to Shayna's front round-house kick, the 'out-of-it' blank stare, like a Replicant that is out-of-juice, as SB wraps her muscular arms around Io's neck, the memory to sell her rt arm after hitting a perfect top-rope NE moonsault as it will add more drama to Shayna's subsequent submission reversal... I can go on and on, but she is the most vibrant female performer in the business. This was great. I would have, however, booked a different finish, a Tiger Suplex or a pinning predicament that would have emphasized the success of Io's in-match lower-back work. Io should be wearing a crown, not you Ricochet. 8. 5 territory for me - 8 is too low and 9 is too high; I'm cool w/ the current rating of 8. 72. |

| 07.04.2017 | TrevPuroFan | 10.0 | Really fantastic match here, and my favorite womens match of 2017 so far. Loved Shayna portraying herself as a beast, going right at Io from the start, also loved the armwork she did, and her throwing some of her MMA skills into the match. Io was also fantastic at selling and briefly working over Shayna's back. Overall a MOTYC so far. (****3/4) |
| 24.03.2017 | Mizzle Assault Ant | 10.0 | Fantastic match, I was blown away not just by the amazing skills of Shirai, who really is one of the world's premiere performers right now, but by the previously unknown talents of Baszler, who proved herself to be a true badass in this one, pulverizing her opponent viciously at many points and projected a real asskickers aura. I look forward to seeing lots more of both of these wrestlers. |
| 18.03.2017 | Glover | 7.0 | In a big/important match setting, Io Shirai consistently looks like one of the best wrestlers on the planet. The problem is that she has problem garnering heat as a heel, especially given that she worked from underneath during this match. Io sold her arm very well, and her offense was on-point, but at worst she looked like an aggressive ace and not the disrespectful heel she's supposed to be (and plays perfectly in the post-match promo segment, for the record). Shayna is very early into her career, having transitioned from MMA to wrestling less than two years ago... and Matt Riddle she is not. She doesn't exactly have all of her mannerisms down, and while her limbwork and strikes were good, it felt like she didn't string her dominant work together cohesively. Also, while I got a kick out of it, Shayna quoting Fist of the North Star (with some pretty poor pronunciation to boot) during the match kind of made her look a little dorky when she's supposed to be a no-nonsense tough gaijin shooter. Overall, this match came together well because Io is a masterclass wrestler, but the roles seemed confusing and Shayna is too green to have a real "groove" to settle into as a worker. I preferred Hojo/Kyona on this show, but this was quite nice still. ***1/2 |
| 18.03.2017 | Jobbs | 10.0 | This was just awesome! Loved the psychology of this match and then the dual limb work by both was great as well and they sold it tremendously. The back work Io did on Shayna actually had an effect on Shayna's ability to bridge while doing submission holds, and Io had a hard time trying to maintain the offense with the arm work Shayna executed. Loved the story that was told here and both put on such amazing performances and definitely one of the best matches in 2017 as well. (****3/4) |
| 18.03.2017 | NastyYaffa | 10.0 | Goddamn this was just fantastic. Started off with Shayna establishing dominance when Io tries to get the first strike in - that set the tone for the rest of the match. Shayna does some really awesome work over the arm of Io, and Io is just fantastic selling it. Io's eventual big comeback was great, showing great fire & bringing her fantastic looking offense to Shayna - from then on Shayna tries to focus on the arm where she had done damage & she also tries (and she does) bust out some submissions, but in the end, THE ACE reigns supreme. Wonderful pro wrestling, right there. ****3/4 |
