This match showcased much more of the hybrid lucharesu style than Hamada's previous UWF matches, perhaps due to the fact that he had a partner in Panther whom he felt confident in. Unfortunately it's shot with hand-cam footage in front of a fairly small crowd that isn't super into most of the match (at least until the last few minutes). Beyond that it was a straightforward Hamada babyface comeback against the more physically imposing and technically skilled rudo in Panther. Both guys hit some big moves like a springboard moonsault to the outside and a somersault neckbreaker onto the concrete floor from Panther. I had fun, it's a solid match and worth seeing if you're interested in the history of lucha or lucharesu, but outside of that there's nothing too special."

But the action shines through and we can be grateful for whoever snuck in a big camcorder for this. The action is exciting and innovative and the crowd clearly respects both men. They throw a few big dives and a few crazy bumps including Panther taking a wild spill to the outside. In the end Hamada gets the win pretty decisively. Well worth watching both for the action and to get a view of what these wrestlers were doing at the time. ****"
