[8.0] "This was a great match between these two , Xia really impressed me she was really good in this match and exceeded my expectations , Becky did play a big part in carrying portions of the match but Xia did really good as well. Xia had some decent strikes , Becky also had some pretty good moves like the armbar. The ending was solid , and Becky continued her streak every single Becky Lynch match I've watched recently has been fantastic . She's so good in the ring , and deserves way more credit in what she does. Good match , and another fantastic showing from Becky."
[7.0] "Job well done by both women. Xia Li, in particular, needed a match like this. Seriously, aside from this, I can't think of a single notable Xia Li match."
[7.0] "Back in the day, Xia Li was one of the wrestlers that caught my attention in NXT, not because she showed a great talent, but because she promised having that talent, she had a unique background of martial arts that she added to her offense that made her unique and combined with her natural personality she became one of my favorite prospects of NXT. I saw a bright future ahead of her, but then all she got down there was squash matches, either winning or losing them, without giving her the chance to grow as a wrestler, unable from developing her wrestling abilities and her character skills. That looked like it was going to change when she joined Tian Sha, but that didn't last long as they scrapped the whole stable to make Mei Ying change her gimmick to Wendy Choo and Xia Li got promoted to the Main Roster without a clear path and with a crappy gimmick as "The Protector". That didn't last long either, as all she had was, once again, squash matches, and she turned heel, and stayed the same, until someone saw the light and booked her as a placeholder feud for Becky Lynch. And if that person was Triple H, he finally did something right with her and she finally gave her an actual chance to prove herself, to prove she has the talent, she has the skills to be more than a jobber, to grow, to continue working her ass off to get matches like this, where she shined against an excellent Becky Lynch, who guided Xia through unknown waters in her first decent WWE match. She looked a bit lost, a bit sloppy at times, but that's due to her lack of experience, but she clearly showed she has the talent, and she gave a really good performance in a match that also featured some great storytelling and psychology. They've been selling Xia's kicks are devastating, as a very dangerous weapong, similar to what the Punt Kick is for Randy Orton, and while it wasn't as deadly in this match, Becky sold the damage of it really well, and they booked Xia's defeat because she was to eager to put Becky down, she was impatient as she is aware of the enormous chance she had here, but also lacks the experience and maturity to deal with it. I loved the storytelling, and the In-Ring performance could've been better, but both women did really good here. I just hope this is not the end for Xia and that they realize the diamond in the rough they have in her (*** 1/2)"
[7.0] "Surprisingly very good match. Not seen much of anything from Xia Li before so didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at how much she delivered. Gave Becky lots of offence, the spot with Becky being tossed out of the ring was great. Some of Becky's best selling too, her having to act delirious after the blunt force head trauma could've looked silly but she pulled it off. Solid match!"

It had some sloppy moments at the start, but both women found their footing, and were able to produced a surprisingly competitive and entertaining match. I thought this was gonna be a relatively easy win for Becky but it was an even sided match, Li managed to hold her own fairly well against a star of Beck's level and she got to unload a lot of her arsenal and she came off looking really strong.***1/2"
[6.0] "Nice to see Xia Li getting a push, however small it may be. She's not exactly getting reactions, but by the end of the match the crowd seemed genuinely invested, so good for her. I thought it was okay. Xia's offense is unique and I think she's being booked to her strengths, but I'll need to see more to be truly invested. She seems way better than someone who was kept off TV for months."
[7.0] "Good match between Becky Lynch and Xia Li. Xia has been getting a small push recently, knocking Candice and Indi out in quick matches and targeting Becky. This was an opportunity for her to show what she could do against one of the top women. She held up well in what is easily the best match of her career. It was a nice, competitive back and forth with Xia getting in her knockout kick, and might have won had Becky not gone outside to the floor. The crowd got into this more as it went along, with Becky giving Xia plenty of offense for her to come back from along with some near falls. Becky won with the Manhandle Slam. Predictable ending, but with Xia getting an NXT Women's Title match the next day, maybe they could have had her get some kind of cheap win to make her more credible. Regardless, this was a big test for Xia that she passed. It may not be a star making performance, but it was good enough that she should be featured more often. 7.5/10"
[8.0] "Becky vs. Xia was so much better than I expected. Granted, I haven't had a chance to see much from Xia so far, but that was pretty good. Both superstars got physical and it only added to the story of these two. Having this match only 24 hours before Xia's match with Lyra Valkyria made me think that Xia would win this one. I can honestly say I was surprised that Becky won (perhaps because of WarGames)."
[8.0] "Surprisingly good match here, in my opinion. Li never really had a match that stood out to me in her time in NXT and the main roster as well. However, this was by far her best match yet. Lynch made her look great here, but I can't help but find the timing of this match odd. With Li challenging Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women's Title on the next night, it's a little weird to me to have her lose the night prior. Either way, good stuff here."
[6.0] "This is where Im not sure its a good idea to let the first contender for the NXT Womens Championship lose right the day before the match. But overall I'm glad Li got her chance. In this regard, endless respect for Becky, who actively promotes all those who are underpaid. Its funny that even in NXT I dont remember such long matches for the Chinese woman. The match itself turned out to be quite good. Xia was made out to be quite strong, and Becky was herself. There was a little dirt in the performance, but even this did not jar too much, although it took a little away from the overall score."
[9.0] "This match was beast, crowd was hot too. Xia looked amazing this match, and it really sold her on me. The only reason this isn't a 10 is because why would she lose clean right before her NXT Women's Title match? I was expecting some DAMAGE CTRL interference to cause a DQ or a roll-up finish, but this match was overall great and made Xia look like a real threat against a top star like Lynch."
[5.0] "Bro. How are we supposed to take Xia Li seriously now! You have her lose clean when she has an NXT Women's Title match the next night. Seriously? You couldn't at least have a Damage CTRL member come out, distract or attack Becky behind the ref and have Xia win? It wouldn't make Becky look any weaker. Every time they try to push Xia Li, they fail. They actually had a chance this time. She was going up against one of the biggest women in the company and the crowd was actually convinced that she was a threat this time! Just fuck off. 5 points because in-ring action was okay and the crowd was actually invested in Xia for this match."
[6.0] "It was a good match...seems overrated because Xia Lee had her first good match.I think it was a good match just a bit botchy here and there.I just thought a real good raw match.Becky has been on a role though I just don't think this match is any where as near the other great matches she had since August.Still a good match."

Cole & Barrett have been consistently excellent at introducing developmental up and comers to the main roster audience and Li was given the time & opportunity to live up to their hype. [9.0] "Becky Lynch can only be commended for bringing renewed attention to the WWE women's division, and in particular to those souls who were lost on the roster, such as Tegan Nox, Indie, and of course, Lyra Valkyria. Now its the turn of Xia Li, who showed great potential on NXT, but was completely lost on the main roster. And Xia made the most of the opportunity given to her. We got a really awesome match with a plot and psychology, which could easily be included in the main event of the show if War Games werent looming on the horizon and there was no need to promote the main match of the upcoming PLE. I also liked that the match was watched by NXT Champion Lyra Valkyria, who won the title from Becca and will be defending her title against Xia at NXT Deadline. I really hope that after this feud, Xia Li will cement her position as the uppercard of the WWE women's division ****1/2"
[8.0] "Super well-built fight between the 2. Superb storytelling in the fight, with a perfect spotlight on Xia Li. She's finally respected in her character and as a wrestler. This is clearly her first really good match and her reference match at WWE."
[7.0] "I was pleased to see Xia Li finally get the opportunity to have a longer match. She isn't perfect, but she made a good account of herself here and looked credible against a big name opponent. The match had a good amount of action and seemed to succeed at its goal of elevating Xia at no expense of Becky's, so I'd say this was a success."

[8.0] "Not the best technical match ever but a match that surprised in a good way, and most probably the best match of Xia Li. They built a nice story around Xia's high kick that has stunned a few women the last few weeks. Having Becky being thrown out the ring instead of kicking out of it was a good way to protect the move event if the execution wasn't perfect. The crowd was going very hot for Becky's offences and comebacks, especially for her superplex onto Xia. A very good match that continues Becky's very good streak since the end of her feud with Trish Stratus. 8/10."
