"two mountains free soloing each other, here to remind you that professional wrestling has the word "wrestling" in it. arai and his amazing facial expressions versus gentaro and his incredible grunts. its fundamental, immense, and completely understandable why someone wouldn't enjoy it. I mean, I bought the match when it was first available and only watched it fully now. you should too."

[9.0] "I write this in the week that some George Hackenschmidt footage was unearthed and this is a match that the ol' Russian Lion could watch and very much understand and enjoy. This felt attritional in all the very best ways, there was a battle over a figure four near the end that had me on the edge of my seat despite the fact I very much knew it ended in a draw. This is the kind of match where you can take your time and appreciate the little details. I am pretty sure they could have filmed nothing but their faces and you would have understood what was going on in this. I am not sure I could say I ever loved this or that I would watch it again but I appreciated every single second. Pro Wrestling is very much better because a match like this exists."

[8.0] "Great match, I am not as high on this as others but, this is also my first time seeing these two I think. This match is so quirky and unique. Despite it being a basically being a very long submission grappling match its very dynamic and alot of has variety. It is also very engaging. Both are so focused on submissions even the simple breaks from that like pinfall attempts and slams are very interesting and feel calculated. It feels like at anytime a fall can be lost match but, it will be a struggle to get that fall. The post match with the with both wrestlers, seconds, and crowd happy is very sweet."

[10.0] "One of the best matches of the year. This was a good old-school throwback to traditional grappling in professional wrestling, with a focus on finesse and strategy. It reminded me of a good MUGA match, which is almost revolutionary for 2023. There is a sense of struggle throughout and the technical ability did not leave me wanting. Highly recommended. ****1/2"

[10.0] "My friend bought this from the promoter via Twitter after hearing some match of the year buzz from some mutuals of his. We watched it only knowing that it was an hour long. You'll maybe never see a more convincing exchange of grappling in your life. The struggle, the exhaustion, the close proximity of the camera to the action, the relentless commitment and anguish present in every hold, the risks present in every single decision that both men make over the course of the time limit draw, all add up to be one of the most engaging testaments to pro wrestling genius I've ever seen."
