[5.0] "Passable match but not a lot more. First time seeing either of the Western guys and can't say I'm dying to see what else they produce this tournament. Davidson's spinning dive off the top rope was cool (well, until Shuji didn't catch him) but Cyrus didn't really impress me at all as a big man. Ayabe has good size but seems to be lacking a bit of charisma. Fine, but don't see huge things coming from either team. **1/2"
[6.0] "Ryan Davidson and Cyrus vs Shuji Ishikawa and Ren Ayabe-it did its job as being a cool down match and that's about it. They showed ayabe resilience enough and cyrus looked very solid in this as he didn't have to do long bursts of action. Davidson did well though Shuji did not catch him lol. (6.0/10)"
[5.0] "It was alright. Cyrus is much better as a tag guy than a singles. Davidson looked ok, he did a big twisting dive and completely missed Ishikawa but the crowd seemed to appreciate the effort. There was a fun teacher/student dynamic with Cyrus and Ishikawa."
[4.0] "A word to describe this match would be 'lumbering'. There was some OK big man stuff but for the most part it was not a particularly enjoyable and memorable match."
[5.0] "I can understand why they are in but I think it is fair to say I am never going to be excited to sit down and watch a Cyrus and Davidson match. Cyrus getting his tit out to signify for a choke slam is an interesting choice. Davidson completely fucked up a dive to the outside near the finish on this, ouch."
