Dalton Castle vs. Nick Wayne

[3.0] "One of the weaker collusion matches as of late - This was a few years ago but Nick Wayne didn't look particularly great in this match sure he is young and still inexperienced but overall to say wasn't a great match"

[3.0] "[1.5*] Another bad Nick Wayne match for the books. Ever since they booked him on the Main Event against the super talented Darby in a stinker of a match, I started having doubts about him. Of course he is just a kid but he should be protected to work indies and ROH/Rampage before jumping into the bigger stories. This match was genuinely bad. And isnt Dalton the first contender for Eddies championship? Rough."

[4.0] "A little weird how Castle is a face here despite being the heel in the ROH title feud. Chemistry between the competitors just did not seem to be there. Castle is really talented and at times he got to show it in this match. Wayne struggled a bit more as he adjusts to the AEW over the indies."

[3.0] "A bizarre match to book. Wayne is a heel while Dalton was seemingly heelish last week then beloved this week. Dalton is also about to challenge Kingston for the ROH title but is taking a loss to Nick Wayne here. A match of which I am not sure of why it exists in this spot."

[4.0] "Dalton Castle did ok here despite being pretty beat up apparently. Nick Wayne continues to get something of a push but didn't particularly stand out here."

[6.0] "Nick Wayne did not look good in this one. Offense was pretty clunky and weak looking. Thankfully though, Dalton was on top for most of the match and he looked great so I enjoyed it. Nonetheless, Nicks eventual win therefore didnt feel particularly credible or earned and the heel shenanigans were insufficient to cover for this."

[5.0] "Decent match. Decent effort by both competitors. This match could have been better if they put a few more combinations into it. This was more of a showcase/time filler than anything else. Castle, as a former ROH World Champion has a good reputation as a worker unfortunately, it did not show as well as it could in this match."

[6.0] "Enjoyable match, Dalton Castle is always entertaining and Nick Wayne is pretty good. Nigel McGuinness' commentary was very funny too."

[3.0] "I will never understand how the roles of specific characters work in this company. Last week, Dalton was an outright heel who got a title fight in a sneaky way, and today he stood before everyone as a beloved face. How did this happen? Unclear. And the match itself didn't shine much. Yes, Dalton has great suplexes, which he did for 5 minutes out of the allotted 6, and then exactly one sneaky trick and ending. I'm sorry, but did Nick Wayne even come out to the match? In any case, I dont know why or what it was for, neither from the point of view of promoting the characters, nor from the point of view of wrestling itself."

[6.0] "Solid match that gave Dalton Castle more of a platform than his recent six man matches, plus a big name win for Nick Wayne over a former Ring of Honor World Champion. With the big six man match at Full Gear, Wayne needs the reps and some sort of legitimacy, and he got that here."
