Everyone in the match has great chemistry together with plenty of fantastic spots throughout. The build to the climax is Suzuki destroying Asuka. Meiko does a great job of making it look like a shoot when she tries to stop Suzuki - her own tag partner. Great wrestling and great psychology, a brilliant match that is overshadowed by the stiff shots on Kana."

[9.0] "A fantastic match, and it's no surprise with four world-class talent in the ring like this. Minoru Suzuki looked like a demon in this match, especially when he really started destroying Kana. But Kana still looked amazingly strong in defeat, refusing to back down until Suzuki delt her the finishing blow. And let's not forget the efforts of Meiko Satomura and Naomichi Marufuji either. Satomura and Kana had great chemistry as always, and Marufuji is a marvel in the ring. Awesome."

From what I understand, she basically insisted to Minoru Suzuki that he not hold back against her, so people would see how tough she truly was. Minoru certainly obliged her, though I was happy to see Kana get some good shots in on him as well. (The two literally spit in each other's faces at various points in the match.)"

You can tell this crowd got behind Meiko and evening got behind Kana, but that was to no avail. While Meiko and Marufuji had some great speed and technical fortitude together, with stiff chops, the show was Kana and Suzuki from the jump and it finished with them. Phew. *****"

The men have to pretend that any of the offense done to them is painful. Then you have to watch as they knee and punch these girls in the head. This is an awful awful match and a blight on wrestling."

Perhaps that's come with his showcases on American television more playing-the-hits, minus his classic match with Danielson. Maybe it has to do with age. Regardless, this match reminded me of the killer he is. This match is less centered around Marufuji and Meiko, but more about that *one* moment between Kana and Suzuki that changes the match from "a match", to brutalization. This isn't to forget the other intergender moments with Marufuji and Meiko! Both of those were executed well. Excellent."

[9.0] "One of the most surreal experiences I can remember having as a professional wrestling fan. The sequence between Kana and Minoru Suzuki has now become equal parts legendary and infamous, and with damn good reason. That was difficult to watch, albeit while greatly enhancing the respect I have for Kana as a competitor. What I feel is underrated, however, is just how damn good the exchanges between Meiko Satomura and Naomichi Marufuji were. Genuinely dropped my jaw at one point. A match that you have to be ready to watch because this... This is different. Speechless even after watching it a second time. 4. 5 stars, 9 out of 10. Eternal respect to Kana."

Many of his punches and chops resonated throughout the entire building. Suzuki played a great heel throughout the battle, even attacking his own partner. Speaking of his partner, the storytelling with Satomura was great. Her resiliency against Marufuji was captivating. A fantastic tag team match."

Suzuki didn't hold back destroying Kana at all. Masterful character from him as always. Kana did a damn good job selling the beating too and trying to fight back. Marufuji did a fantastic job here too. His interactions were Meiko were wonderful, and that one sequence with him and Suzuki was brilliant. I wish there were Suzuki/Maru interactions, but they saved those for singles matches in NOAH. Overall i loved this but it didn't reach classic status for me. ****1/4"

But instead he was just messing around on the outside beating of meiko for no reason spending the final 1/3 of the match completely uninvested in the outcome. Besides that it was a super stiff match with some great sequences throughout."

Great storytelling to show that she was every bit as tough as any man who's ever been in the ring with a monster like Suzuki."

[7.0] "A very entertaining mixed tag match that was built around Suzuki beating the fuck out of Kana. Marufuji and Satomura were there too, but they weren't on their A games considering they didn't really do much. The real drama of the match was Kana consistantly antagonizing Suzuki at every chance she could get until it came back to bite her. Suzuki was very physical with Kana, even moreso than I have seen him wreck dudes. Suzuki and Satomura won of course, after the former piledrove Kana into the afterlife, ****."

[10.0] "This was something else. I loved all the interactions between all 4 competitors - even Marufuji did a damn good job outside of few of those crappy superkicks. Marufuji vs. Meiko was fun, Meiko dodging those quick striking combinations of Marufuji was pretty damn great. Kana vs. Meiko was awesome, stiff exchanges between the 2. And then the main thing. My god. The interactions between Kana & Minoru goddamn Suzuki. Minoru is such an evil bastard, he wasn't taking this joshi lady seriously, no selling her strikes and just being MiSu. Once Kana nails him with a pretty low kick, he gets so angry, he beats the shit out of her. Kana tries to comeback, she lays some of her great looking offense to the baddest man around - only for him to put her down. This was SO wild. ****1/2"
